Despite having a cheap open air upgrade, the ground driving/parking surface has still not been metalled and is full of holes. Worse, the cost of parking here is rising at over 10% a year and there is no discount whatsoever for paying monthly or annually. To add insult to injury, daily tickets are much more expensive year on year and to avoid this, only 7-day tickets (when the vast majority of users only commute 5 days a week) are offered. It must be nice to own a car park when the local council let you escalate prices on a whim by such indefensible margins.
Since upgrade capacity grown substantially. However this is now taken by mid morning on weekdays so best to arrive as early as possible. If no space on north or south side, alternate parking at The Station pub / pizza rest. on the roundabout at main entrance south side or the new Premier Travel Inn just further to Fleet centre which lets people park in day.
