Barrier would not lift up after putting ticket in pressed ‘help’ button rang for ages then answered by incredibly rude man who screamed at me then hung up! Tried call button again but was not answered ended up driving out entry barrier which luckily was up otherwise I’d still be there!

Machine is constantly freezing. Help button was answered by a really aggressive man who told me “to drop the attitude and go to the exit” simply because I told him the machine was trying to charge me twice. Unbelievably rude and disrespectful.

The attendant on the help button has always been helpful and fairly prompt for me.

Paid via contactless, ticket came back out, inserted ticket into the exit barrier machine as per usual. The barrier did not raise. I had a queue of cars behind me. Thinking it must be the transaction hadn't gone through I reversed, parked up and paid again, this time with cash. The barrier this time raised. Looking at my bank account later, I had been charged the first time, so I effectively paid twice to get out.

God help you if you need to press the help button. The man is incredibly rude and insulting. You’re made to feel like you’re interrupting him doing something else, like sleeping.

The reason I have given 1 star is the attitude of the scots person in the hut he is the rudest man I have ever come across, on entering I gave a short sounding of my horn to get his attention, he didn,t respond so I done it again, he then screamed at me saying who did I think I was sounding my horn at him. He then said get out of your car

Been using this for years without problem until they install an automatic ticketing system. Now it can take 5 minutes to get in via the barrier and up to 10 minutes to get out. Looking for somewhere else to park!!.

I have given 3 * instead of 5* as it is so frustrating when on exiting the machine rejects my ticket and I have to press the button for help to raise the barrier. this is happening far too often and what would happen if the attendant is not there?

Parking In Bromborough

Wirral Council administers a scheme to give blue badge holders a greater opportunity to park outside their home. There is currently no charge for this service.

In order to be eligible for an advisory disabled parking bay:

• you must hold a blue badge

• you must have a vehicle registered at the address, and the designated driver must also live at the address

• there should not be space within the property boundary to provide off-street parking for the applicant or an existing alternative means of off-street parking (i.e. garage / driveway)

• there must be a suitable location to provide an on-street parking bay ideally located outside of the applicants home that does not conflict with existing waiting restrictions

If you wish to apply for a bay please use the online request button at the top right-hand side of the page. Alternatively, please complete the Disabled Parking Bay Application Form and return it to the address indicated or drop it off at any One Stop Shop.

Following application, the process includes a site survey to consider a suitable location before informing the adjacent businesses, neighbours and Ward Councillors of the intention to provide a bay. It is not always possible to provide a bay but where this is the case you will be informed as early as possible of the reasons why the request was unsuccessful

Wirral Council must stress that these bays are advisory only. This means that it is not possible for the Council's Civil Enforcement Officers to enforce who may or may not use this bay.
