What a joke - must be 20 cars circling round looking for a space! It seems there are more staff car parks then f or patients/visitors!!!

They know what time you enter and exit the car park since it is stated on the fine you receive but when you pay at the machine it is up to you to remember what time you entered. I entered an entry time that was 10 minutes late and hence got a fine. Only one of the machines was working and only took cash, it was difficult to use and kept freezing. Dispicable procedure for people visiting hospital and not needing the additional stress.

This is second time for parking fee the first said no fee now this one he paid and still got a parking fine and wrong amount charged as it was ment to be £4.00 for four hours he only stayed two hours 9 mins but paid £5.00 and that’s for 24 hours won’t be parking there again .

I used the parking eye good to go system. Unfortunately I entered the wrong car reg so received 2 fines. These were appealed and the charges were cancelled. We found the system worked well for all the family at a very difficult time for us.

I paid to park on 23rd Dec, still got a fine which i will not pay. This company is beneath contempt.

I parked in the carpark nearest A&E last week. First visit in a couple of years. Registered the Blue Badge (disabled parking) at the Main Hospital Reception. The Parkingeye.Ltd signs direct this action. Reception staff entered the badge details and car reg onto their paper log sheet, and verbally directed me to NOT use the pay machine and to "just drive out of the car park". Additionally, they handed me a paper instruction slip stating the same. This week I received a parking charge notice from Parkingeye.Ltd (£70) for that visit. After following the signage and Reception instructions exactly, this feels like daylight robbery. No response yet from their online appeal process. I suggest other first time parkers with a Blue Badge use the pay machine.

Received a parking fine today even though the day I parked the machine was broken and no way to pay even if I new how much it was so what are you supposed to do about that. Not happy at all

I tried to pay for my parking today but none of the machines outside outpatients work... I tried three times to pay bit couldn't...not very good seeing as I had just visited the cardiac unit with problems with my pacemaker...No doubt I'll end up with a fine MORE STRESS.... I'm not a happy bunny.

Parking Your Motorhome

If your motorhome will fit in a standard parking bay (2.5m x 5.0m), and you wish to park in a City of Lincoln Council car park, you will need to purchase a pay & display ticket as normal.

Tentercroft Street has several bays at its east end which back onto a large grass verge, allowing the rear overhang of longer vehicles to be out over the grass, with the front of the vehicle within the bay.

If your vehicle is too long, you may park in two bays end-to-end, but you must purchase a ticket for each bay you use.

For parking uphill in the historic area of the city, The Lawn offers access for motorhome users, with bays backing onto grass for longer vehicles to reverse into.

If your motorhome is too large for a standard bay you will need to contact the Bus Station to book a space, prior to your visit, as parking for such vehicles is limited.

Scratch-cards

Lincoln City Council also offers daily car park scratch cards, to use on any of Council-run car parks. These are available to buy online or at City Hall. A book of seven scratch-cards costs £36.00 and each scratch-card is valid until 8am on the morning after the date scratched off (the same duration as an All Day pay and display ticket).

For those who park regularly in the evening, the Council offers a book of 15 evening scratch-cards for £12.00. These are valid on any City of Lincoln Council car park between 6pm and 8am the following morning. As with daily scratch-cards, simply scratch off the relevant information and display the card in your windscreen when parking. They are also available online and at City Hall.
