Please avoid using this car park. The spaces are poorly marked. I parked on a line and was issued a ticket for £25.

£8 is FAR too expensive to park in a small village. Please get real. Motorhome spaces are much too close together and, again, £12 for an overnight stay is too expensive as there are no facilities at all. you have to faff around with booking a space and you have to pay AGAIN if you wish to stay into the next day. At the very least the £12 overnight fee should include parking for the next day. Perhaps look upon motorhomers as bringing custom to local businesses and not a cash cow to yourselves.

BEWARE THIS CAR PARK IS DELIVERATELY SEEKING TO FINE DRIVERS PARKED IN THE COACH PARKING BAYS. The Car park was very busy and I drove to the back of the car park where there was a row of cars parked. I asked several people in their cars if they were leaving or if they had just arrived. All of them said they'd just arrived. Suddey a drew out and parking bay became available in the row of cars. I then paid on the pay by phone app and went with my family to Bamburgh Beach. When we returned several hours later in the evening, i noticed I had been issued with a fine. The car park was quite empty at this time and I was really puzzled as to why I was fined. The fine said 'parked in an designated for other vehicles. I then looked a long the grass area and noticed there were several small blue signs ever few metres stating 'coaches only'. None of these were visible when I arrived as they were all obscured by parked cars. and every vehicle parked on the row was a car. It is a disgrace and deliberate decepti

Parked our motorhome in a designated motorhome bay. Absolutely ideal for visiting Bamburgh, with plenty of other spaces available which could also have accommodated a 6m motorhome (although I agree with a previous reviewer regarding unsafe spacing for units which stay overnight in the designated area). The car park seems to have had a refurb since the 2021 reviews and signage is now clear as well as the markings showing designated parking. Expensive I suppose, but worth it for the location.

Stayed overnight in our motorhome but do not recommend as there is no space between designated overnight parking bays.

Be warned!!!!We parked our hired motorhome here recently. When we arrived at the car park we parked the motorhome on the left side of the car park that had a sign that said motorhomes only. We paid for three hours parking online but when we returned we were shocked to see we had been given a parking ticket for not parking in the right spot. When we looked at the top of the car park there was a very misleading sign that appeared to indicate only coaches could park in the spaces to the back of the car park and another sign across the other side of the car park that indicated coach turning area. As previous people have said -I feel the signage is deliberately misleading thus creating a very lucrative money making scheme for the council. Won’t be visiting Bamburgh again anytime soon -what a shame.

Be very careful where you park here. Bays aren't marked clearly at all. We received a fine, as did a lot of cars that day: we appealed it and our appeal was declined. Expensive day out :(

Avoid or be vigilant where you park. Poor bay markings and an unsignposted coach parking/turning circle that takes up most of the car park. The council know this and are stinging tourists for fines. Park up at the castle or further down the road.

There are “coach parking only” signs at the rear of this bay car park. What they intentionally do not make clear is that this applies to nearly a quarter of the car park. Northumberland council are taking us for mugs. When we arrived there was a double row of parked cars and we pulled into a space. Having paid and extortionate £4.50 we returned to find every car 20+ with a PCN. they say it “is not appropriate or reasonable for them to mark clearly” and that we should not park there because the small print on the entrance sign says we should be in a marked bay. This is a money making scam. Shocking!

Be very careful - council are running a money making venture - claiming a huge amount of the carpark is an unmarked turning circle for coaches. Came back to find row after row of cars covered with yellow penalty notices!! Absolute disgrace. Council should be ashamed of blatant attempt to confuse and wring car drivers. Put me right off ever coming back as a tourist.

Paid for 72 hours, got a ticket for parking overnight! Absolute disgrace!

machine says one price, then changes the price after payment is made - I was charged £16.50 instead of £3.50!

Dissapointed in the price not that much there to pay that much if they had charged £3for the day I think people would be happy to pay that people will find side roads and other free areas to park at.
