Lion Shopping Park

Met with my family and had coffee to discuss my mum's end of life arrangements. No one was thinking of time being 1hour less on Friday as too upset. Popped into Asda to take our mum some bits. Having lost our mum then get £60 fine... 3hours parking normally 2 hours on Friday. Why wud anyone change times. What I wud say is after appealing my charge was reduced as I produced receipts. Still feel upset and cross and I will still be paying money but I need to be grateful I guess for the car park company being so compassionate .

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Took my friend for a coffee before her next round of treatment and slapped with a £100 fine. Signage wasn't clear and I was a paying customer. Absolutely disgusting. Be very careful if you need to park here.

A new resident to the Woking area, thought I would explore the retail park, as there are a few large stores, and even a Costa coffee shop. Spent a few hours here visiting every store, bought things in 2 of the stores and had a coffee at Costa as well. Then guess what, I was slapped with a 100 quid parking fine for spending just over 3 hours there. There are other shops in the area that sells the same stuff, so I won't be going back.

Scummy car park. Avoid. Met a friend for coffee, obviously using the Costa onsite - now I have a car park charge! I’d rather and will in future go into town.

Just checking the parking for Sunday and shocked to hear so many of the same stories. Their parking signs are not clear and I was threatened with a hefty fine - whilst I went away for 2 months the fine had gone up! They took some money off after I showed them evidence. And they want us to shop more on the high street rather than online! Someone should find out how much money they have made in fines this year. Where does that money go?????

Absolutely disgusted and appalled to have received a £100 fine for parking for 2hrs 12 mins on Friday 1st November. I am disabled and it takes me 15 minutes to park up, get out of my car, unload my scooter, set it up, get my shopping bags, lock the car up and set off to the shops I wish to visit. Well that's it for me. 30 minutes to visit all the shops (and I frequently use most of them), is just not possible. I can't carry bags, so have to keep going back to the car with things I buy, so that's it for me. Have enjoyed shopping at Halfords, Pets at Home, Asda, Argos, Curry's PC World and Hobbycraft. Unfortunately, due to CP Plus I will now have to shop elsewhere.

Just been asked to cough up £100 by a bunch of grimy criminals working on behalf of this so called peoples shopping centre, for being 1hr 31 mins from 1759 til 1931 on a Friday evening in a 90% empty car park. Shame on you, I would request a contribution from you but don't imagine you'd have the common decency to even reply.

Parking scam in operation on Fridays. Local resident and frequent user but not any longer. Will avoid this retail park and any other parking controlled by CP Plus. Received a parking fine for visiting shops on a Friday morning for 1h 43m. That’s the last money they get from me.

I live locally and use this retail park all the time - but not anymore! I’ve just had a £100.00 for using the car park for 1 hour and 43 minutes on a Friday while I went to 2 shops and got a coffee at costa. It’s usually 2 hours so I didn’t think about it - but of course we all need to be penalised because some people use the car park on Fridays when they are not even shopping! Seriously do they want anyone to actually use these shops or not? And you only got one star because it wouldn’t let me leave none

Got stuck trying to get out of this carpark on Friday May 31st. It was bedlam. Friday prayers cause chaos. Not being local I did not know this. Took over 45 minutes to get out. Then got a parking ticket for staying too long... tried to call them 40 minutes and still no answer... disgusting! Will never shop here again. They are criminals.

Went into Costa with a friend as was waiting to hear from the vet regarding an urgent referral for my dog as she suffered a spinal cord injury that morning! Was there on a Friday for an hour and a half. Never mind me being beside myself with shock / distress. Now I have a £100 fine! What a load of BS!

Will never use these shops/this car park again: £100 parking fine for spending money in two of the shops on a Friday. The signage about the 1 hour Friday limit was NOT prominent as the parking fine claims - and the car park was 90% empty at the time! What is the point of discouraging people from using the shops that pay rent at this retail park?! If you want to charge people a fair amount for parking then do so - but to give a £100 fine for just over an hour of parking is completely out of proportion. I will find somewhere else to shop.

Took dog to vet at pets at home on a Friday morning. Was there over an hour with waiting and treatment and 2 weeks later received a £100 fine from car park as 1 hr limit on a Friday!! Such a con!

So easy to be caught out by the parking on a Friday! It is so easy to spend longer than an hour if you are visiting more than one store or you are waiting in the Argos for service. Just shopping in ASDA the. Following with a coffee in Costa could cost a small fortune if you are doing so on a Friday! Terrible parking system.

Received £100 fine for parking longer than hour on a Friday. Every other day is 3 hours free parking. Be careful check the sign... and the day of the week.
