M&S should be ashamed of allowing this company to manage the carpark
DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK EVER!!! I parked k. The disabled parking space with my blue badge visible!! NOWHERE was there ANY signs or instructions on what to do for blue badge holders. Tried to dispute this, guess what, no contact details. As a blue badge holder with mental and physical disabilities doing things are already challenging enough without adding on this stress! Will never go there ever again. Useless and a waste of time! Boycot them
Awful. Received a fine for 6 minutes overstay after I had paid for the parking. Parking "company", if so can be called, are going against the British Parking Association code of conduct clearly stating that drivers should be given a 10 minute grace period after the paid for time runs out. My appeal was rejected without any reference to the grace period so I'll pursue further. Not up to the standards you'd expect at M&S.
The most user unfriendly car parking arrangements I have ever experienced. I followed what I believed to have been the correct procedures for payment but I apparently still contravened the regulations and therefore received a fine. Could I suggest M&S change their CP providers and adopt the system operated by the nearby Waitrose
Can't rate this car park, would give it minus if we could. Run by crooks, paid our parking fee but machine did not allow us to put full reg number in. Displayed ticket and kept, just now received £60 fine. Reading other reviews not worth appealing. M&S should take notice of what is accompany is doing. Certainly won't be using M&S again while they allow their customers to be ripped off.
Disgusted with them in Sevenoaks under M&S. Used blue badge for client as he couldn't walk far. Did not use App. Asked M&S and they said it doesn't belong to them. Went to move the car outside. Received fines and now threatening Bailiff letters arriving. Appealed thrice and ignored. Scum they are. Refuse to pay until a response to the appeals are received.
Can't possibly give this any stars. I went with my daughter a couple of weeks ago, she couldn't get a signal so bought a ticket which like many she has since discarded. Today she received a fine for non payment, Ridiculous..M&S if you own this carpark you really need to cancel the current company's contract before you start losing customers
It’s amazing after all these reviews nothing is done about the car park? Went in and machine not working, couldn’t download the app as we just moved to Sevenoaks, so left the car park…got a fine for the same!!
DO NOT USE. As a couple of pensioners it took us ,20mins to work out how to use! Have retained all receipts etc but still got to pay £60-£100 for an alledged 8 min overstay.
PCN Issued as they did not receive the reg no text sent. Appealed and no luck as says works on a APNR system
I was give a fine im disabled and had my badge on display i did not know this is a private car park nothing on m and s as you walk in to say disable have to pay got a ticket appealed but they say still have to pay not got the money but will have to pay some how as the fine will be triple if not m and s did not want to know will not shop there again

NO STARS. Do not use this car park - it's run by crooks featured on Watchdog! Inflated charges to begin with and scandalous Parking charge if you go over your time. Shame on you M
Scandalous - only time I've used this car park and I get a PCN!! I paid for my parking but havent kept the ticket - who keeps pay/display tickets for weeks? Needless to say, I wont be back. M
I paid the correct fee and still have ticket. Based on timing, and the fact I have the ticket I clearly paid but final digits of reg no not printed on ticket so I am being fined for keypad error not failing to pay fee. Shame on you M

Do not under circumstances use this car park they are a load of crooks - I have now have three PCN's from them and appealed, no response and now have a £160 debt collection firm on my tail. Articles in The Times and The Gaurdian say they get 60% of their revenue from this practice.
I received a ticket dated 23 March for an alleged violation on 23 Feb! I always pay for my parking without fail! Who would keep their receipt for this long? M
I am surprised that such a reputable company with very loyal customers would rely upon a very unreputable company to work in the name of M
Smart Parking are going against the BPA code of conduct and refuse to accept a watertight appeal. Absolutely disgusting! Do not park here. You are warned.
I parked in this car park on 1st November 2017. The machine was faulty so I could not purchase a ticket. I have now received a PCN and Smart parking refuse to accept the machine was out of order. Did anyone else have the same experience?

We parked our car at M/S in the ground floor. The machine is one where you have input your reg number and display the ticket. The machine key board was faulty - we could not enter the letters number 5 7 so after trying we inputted letters whic the machine accepted. We told MS staff this and they told us its wil okay as long as we have the ticket displayed . Two week slater we recievd a parking ticket which we WILL NOT BE PAYING NOR SHOPPING IN M/S in future . These smart parking are a FRAUD and it is depressing to see Marks and |Spencer using them . They do not take park in acceptable industry recognised apeal process
This company is criminal. We paid for a half an hour ticket to park in Marks and Spencer's carpark in Sevenoaks. We were in and out of the store in 11 minutes according to our fine. Thankfully we kept our parking paper as proof but SmartParking are trying to fine us £160!! We even spent £50 in M
I have just got a ticket for failing to input my correct registration number - the pin pad is tiny so no surprise. Have googled them its all over the web that they do this. My mistake but wont be parking there again.
I paid for two hours parking and left after one and a half hours and got a £60 fine. I have appealed and await their response.
I have fallen foul of the 'guilty until proven innocent' policy adopted by Smartparking.com. I was accused of not having a valid ticket and threatened with a £60 fine. Fortunately I had kept my receipt. Now however I am in limbo as meatpacking fail to respond. This is a scam!

Retain proof of payment as any parking dispute requires you to provide documentary proof - failing which a £100 fine is levied for an alleged 5 minute overrun.
Luckily kept my car parking chit. Still got a ticket. Outrageous! Make sure you have proof of payment, and keep it for at least a month. Smart Parking obvs. have a dodgy system here and can't tell if you've paid or not.
I also find this car park mystifying. I frequently pay for parking using an app, but attempts to figure out how to in this car park have ended in failure. If I am collecting shopping from the store why can't M&S give some free parking? Very frustrating.
Terrible . I was told that if I over ran my parking I couold buy another ticket on way out . I have done this twice and now have a fine for £180 DONT USE
