Parked here. Paid. Got a fine. The appeal got declined. STAY AWAY.

Parked, spent 15 mins in store, went to ticket machine, entered my reg, came up 50p. Paid by card and left. Got ticket for £90. Called them but no answer so left message saying i paid. Left all details. 2 weeks later got letter from debt collector asking for £170. Turns out you have to pay for parking as you enter building. Not as you exit as before. Looks like heading for court. Beware..

ticket machines were faulty therefore would not scan car parking tickets even after paying for it. Long queue to get out of the car park because every single car has to call for assistance to let the barriers up, but the guy on the assistance was mean and thought I didnt pay for the ticket when i did and wont let me go thru. Ive got disabled children coming by school bus, was late to reach home because the guy on the telecom assistance for the barrier was terrible and rude woundnt open the barrier all because of 50 p i paid for but their machine wouldnt say so.

Terrible. You have to pay 50p to park here for two hours. I don’t mind paying this but they’ve disabled the card terminals. I don’t carry cash anymore so you have to go find a cash machine, somewhere to break your tenner and then pay to park. Management do t care. I won’t be visiting this dump again

Why are dogs not allowed in the carpark on lead when the car boot is on but people can smoke in a none smoking environment

Parking in Manchester

Off-street (Commercial Car Parks)

Manchester City Council has a joint venture with NCP Car Parks for off-street parking (i.e. commercial car parks) and encourages visitors to use an NCP car park during their stay.

The following car parks usually fill up before 11am:

- King Street West
- Exchange
- M&S
- Market Place

The following car parks usually have space available:

- Arndale and Printworks (over 2200 space combined)
- Grand Hotel (5 mins walk to Piccadilly)

Three free Metroshuttle buses go past most of the car parks and around the city regularly so you can leave the car in the cheapest car park in the city centre for a long stay and don't need to move the car, although this does mean using public transport. Route map on the TfGM website.

On Street (Pay & Display)

On street parking (i.e. pay and display) in Manchester city centre is divided into hourly zones: one hour, two hour and three hour zones.

Further information can be found by clicking on the coloured zones on the map or by visiting Manchester County Council website.
