Nottingham City Hospital

Went for my 12 week scan, took me an hour almost to find a space, not to mention how stressed I felt trying to find a space. Ended up being late for my scan and then refused to be seen because I was late!! I left crying. Will not be driving there again and will be opting to get a taxi to avoid missing my appointments…

Paid twice before barrier let me out. Contacted the parking office the next day, who said they could reimburse, 3 emails and 2 weeks later, nothing!

Do not trust the pay machine. Paid at the machine then had to pay again at the barrier, no response whatsoever from the help buzzer.

Charged me twice, for parking and then to get out! Purely a money making scheme with no consideration for drivers at all. Is this what our society is now about?!

Only been there 2 hours got changed £8 for 24 hours how does that work??? But unless you pay you cant get out and there is no-one to help you . Disgraceful!!!

Simply the worst hospital car park if you are a visitor . For the second time today I have driven 52 miles to visit my 89 year old father in law and had to drive back to their home within Nottingham and park on their driveway and get a taxi to the hospital . Loads of spaces for staff standing empty . Something needs to be done to increase visitor spaces by maybe allowing visitors to access staff parking when there are spaces in the staff car park at busy times.

Terrible car parking facilities, loads of staff parking but not enough patient parking for size of the hospital. Plus I got charged £2 for just driving in and out of one of the car parks!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

Got a free pass as my grandson is in hospital as he was born 8 weeks early and my daughter does not drive and when I Try and get out the carpark I end up paying £2 to get out the carpark

If I could give zero stars I would. Everytime I have an appointment (maternity) I cannot park. the worst being the other day, my emergency appointment was at 11.15, I arrived on site at 10.45, I still could not park by 11.45 - 30 mins after my appointment, I had to abandon my car and turned up to my appointment 45 mins late. I then had to wait another 45 mins to be seen because of it.

Attendant accused me of being a liar. No parking spaces (ever). Good luck if you're in an emergency. Shocking.

City Hospital - I was waiting for a spare parking place for 10 mins but left as run out of time. The barrier would t open and charged me £2. I rushed to park my car in Gate 3 was there about 30 mins and paid £2 at the machine, which told me to go to the exit, when I did the barrier wouldn’t open so I had to pay another £2. £6 for about half hour and I wouldn’t have been half hour if I didn’t have to walk from one side of the hospital to the other

Hardly any parking, so expensive and sure I have been overpriced twice now cost a fortune already in three days.

Really no stars! Hospital appointment today & spent 45 minutes driving round the size of car parks are not adequate for patients. I’m a cancer patient & have to attend hospital monthly I was so stressed & was about to cancel my appointment when a space became available. I was so stressed by the time I got to my appointment. Totally unacceptable

Awful wholly inadequate parking! Visited today and main car park now mainly staff parking with small area for public which was full, other two car parks very small and full, queued to get in the purple car park a long way for someone who can’t walk very well but not eligible to a blue badge. We were 45 minutes early when we drove into the site but after the farce of trying to park we arrived late! I think the idea is that public are encouraged to use the park and ride service but as a high risk blood cancer patient there is no way I would put them on public transport when masks were mandatory let alone now they’re not! Sadly I can’t rate this ‘service’ as no stars!

Just left city hospital machine not working and barrier not working somebody there from maintenance opening barrier manually couldn't pay so better not get charged,

Allful what are you supposed to do when you have an appointment and cannot park. The parking attendants are rude and very unhelpful and really should not have this job. One carpark really needs tarmacking it is full of holes that are dangerous and un assessable for wheelchairs or anyone with a walking issues. For a large hospital like city it’s irresponsible. And to still be giving staff parking tickets when they should have priory to park, but there is never spaces for them it is really unacceptable and after all these years is still an issue.

Just arrived for appointment no places to park what we should do just parked little places near by blue badge spend no more then 10 min got parking ticket dont really mind parked in the place were should t do ...i really dont see logic hospital haven't got parking sound a bit strange ......thanks .....
