I received a parking charge for being 2 minutes and 15 seconds over time as the company used photo evidence against me despite leaving the car park before my ticket time. However, after some digging on the internet, I found that they are breaking the law. The government code of practice issued in February 2022. The maximum fine they can I force is £50. Also they must allow 10 minutes grace to allow for delays for in finding a parking spot and paying. I have appealed against my fine and when they get back to me I will respond by telling them to poke the charge where the sun don’t shine. Parking machine not working, tried every possible option given to pay to no evail, phone app text website. Every time an error was displayed so am now expecting a parking notice. Having tried the app when I got home I not only found that I had registered but the app also had my bank card details

April 2022. They should be regulated. Parked here and paid the right amount to be sent a letter for a parking fine off £100. So I used their appeal system with photographic evidence off bank transfer and ticket displayed in the car. Still rejected it and demanded a discount price off £20. Scammers do not park here !!!!!

Britannia Parking using this car park to scam people. Paid for a ticket, entered my reg correctly yet they have issued me with a £100 fine for not paying. Credit card transaction to prove I paid!

Send the company a Subject Access Request. They have to prove you infringed their rules. They caught me this way & what they send is an ‘invoice’. They have no power to ‘fine’ you.

Scam , there are 2 payment machines, the one that accepts cards and asks for your registration does not work , the other however accepts cash but does not ask for your registration and gives you a 'tradional' parking ticket to display in your car. Nearly 2 weeks later I have received a notice saying I have not paid as I had not used the card machine ! I will not be paying , they won't take you to court because they don't have a leg to stand on . Scam !!!

Having received a parking charge notice, I appealed by sending proof of payment but this was rejected. However, I was informed that I can make a further appeal but I would forfeit the right to pay £20 instead of £50 if it were unsuccessful. This is clearly a scam and I've sent a letter of complaint to the British Parking Association who license their operation. DO NOT USE THIS CARPARK!!!!

Avoid this car park. It is a private car park operated by Britannia Parking services who will charge you £100 for any infraction of their rules. Can make a visit to Poole very expensive

Terrible scam just been fined because they described on Web they are thistle hotel parking, they are not. Avoid at all costs or it will cost you

Same as above just had to pay even though I had a ticket. However who keeps a ticket for weeks !! Criminal company and they are getting away with it ! If they checked there cctv they can see me pay !

Parked up and bought a ticket no reg number was asked for by the machine received a fine two weeks later that will not be getting payed i still have my ticket as proof and low and behold the office isnt open on a Saturday

Rate is zero. Do not use. Beware. They sent me a parking charge demand despite me having paid the correct amount and displaying ticket. Unfortunately I did not keep the ticket and paid by coins. This practice should be stopped. It's given me a bad view of my trip to Poole now.

beware of this car park, machine was out of order, phoned twice and put card details in to be cut off both times. then received £100 fine through the door for not paying.

Do not use! Despite paying to park they are now saying the registration was not recognised and trying to scam us for £100

This company will scam you!! Absolutely disgusting company! A real disgrace! Avoid!! They have scammed me and my partner but didn’t send the fine out they just sent it to a debt collector! Luckily we had evidence to show we paid for a ticket! Appalled!!

Beware of this car park they take a picture of your car when you enter and leave so if you get back to your car just before your ticket expires and sit in the car to make a call or sort your shopping out then they will check your exit time and check against your ticket if you have paid via your phone. I had issues paying on my phone as it kept saying the car park reference was invalid it took me nearly half and hour to pay so Brittannia started charging me from entry so didn’t take payment issues into account. I’ve just received a parking penalty that was pretty threatening for 100 . If this happens to you then go to money supermarket for advice. Terrible way to treat people and very sneaky....

Beware! This company will attempt to scam you. Some of the ticket machines are out of order, with no signs to suggest this, but they will charge you from the point you enter the carpark and they issue fines even when they are at fault.

Used on a Weds in March. Lots of spaces. Easy access to town and RNLI
