Very convenient for the town centre, especially if you are going to spend at £5 in Sainsburys. If you don't then the cost is £1 per hour up to 4 hours. If you do then you save £2. The lifts are poorly maintained with only 1 of the 4 lights working in both lifts.

Spaces on the first deck are a little cramped, but slightly better on the top deck. Contrary to the advice you can only get up to 2 hours free parking if you spend £5 or more in the supermarket. If you are there for longer then you will get a reduction. You must have your parking ticket validated at the checkouts though. And whatever you do, don’t park longer than 4 hours, as they will charge you £50!

No one park here! I accidentally managed to get my car locked in overnight after they close at a ridiculously early 8pm. I came to retrieve my car at half 7 the next morning and found out that I had to pay an astounding £100 fee (2x the £50 daily 4 hour fee) to exit the carpark. The charges sneakily maintain throughout 24 hours a day even though they are only open for a measly 13 hours: 7am-8pm. Charging shoppers such a ludicrous amount of money for a minor mistake is thievery; a heinous way of making money. Boycott Sainsbury's carpark 2017.
