Reading similar stories on a few forums, even Trip Advisor. My penalty arrived 2 months after the alleged non-payment. Still not sure if a private company can use this technology.

One because I can’t give zero. Paid at the machine, did not get a receipt or anything, was told it was ok and got a fine. I tried to appeal and showed bank statement but nothing! Appalling

Got a parking fine even though I have paid for a ticket and got proof of bank statements - they are con merchants! How are Swanley council letting them get away with this!!!

Avoid this car park at all costs. They will find a way to send you a fine. Con merchants.

Paid at machine I wanted to pay for the 24 HR parking , I only had 10ps , I started putting the money in at £2.50 it stopped taking my money and wouldn't give me back what I had put in and gave me a ticket valid for 1 HR , I thought the machine might be full , I started putting in more 10 ps and it took them again stopped at £2.50 and only produced a ticket for 1 HR , I done the 2nd ticket for my friends car and then I done 2 more tickets both for £1 both in 10ps one for My car one for my friends so we had paid £3.50 each to cover the 24 HR parking , all tickets were purchased within 5 mins of each other , We have both received penalities!! We had the exact money for both tickets which is clearly obvious The appeal has been rejected and we now have to take it further !! How can this be right

Very reasonably priced. Noticed there were 4 different ways to pay.

Easy quick payment system

A few year ago I visited and they had a human being taking the car parking fee so it was no problem paying. The last time I went it was fairly busy with lots of cars moving around. And I had my autistic grandson with me - not a good combination. It took me 10 minutes to work out what I had to do to pay and goodness know how long to make several failed attempts to pmake the payment (whilst trying to stop my grandson from running around the car park). Eventually I thought I had paid and then enjoyed a couple of hours there, having spent money on food and drink in the cafe and paid for other activities. I received a parking ticket because the payment hadn’t actually gone through. I appealed the ticket with no luck. Why do they have to make it so difficult? What’s wrong with a machine where you can pay by debit or credit card? I won’t be going back there in a hurry.

i paid full day and still got a fine for £170 because i overstayed they say?? i was there 2-3 hrs no longer.

Avoid this place if you are disabled!I received a fine on this place. I parked on a disabled area and displayed my badge. I am appealing! Awful!!!

The Civil Enforcement company that manage this are a JOKE! I paid my £3 all day ticket but received a fine in the post stating no payment had been made. Lodged an appeal giving evidence of a ticket and payment from machine but they advised I am being fined as I didn't input a VRM on the machine to validate parking. Its impossible to input a VRM on a machine with no keypad. Beware of this, those who park here!

Cannot find any signs at car park entrance clearly giving the overhead height of the barrier. (Would have thought this a mandatory requirement).

There was no pay machine. So we tried to pay by phone. After we give all card details we been cut off without saying anything. In this case we just left without visiting park

Beware requirement to pay within 20 minutes. £100 fine incurred as I paid 50 minutes after arrival -although still before leaving. (Delay caused by the requirement to first register vehicle and credit card details). If you do not have a telephone or credit card with you - you may suffer the same fate. Civil Enforcement Ltd.,the company managing the car park declined an appeal against the penalty -despite providing proof of payment.
