A miserable experience, smelly insecure and ridiculously expensive, Brighton is not what is was and the car park was the final straw. Never again.

Expensive, no clear pricing, dirty, and narrow entrance where you will damage your wheels. Park anywhere else.

Car got broken into and belongings stolen. When you pay £60 for the privilege you’d expect some security staff or some remorse

As like everyone else, never been to Brighton and came across this car park. Didn't realise the prices were so high untill returned being charged £30 cause we were parked more then 5 hrs day light robbery.

Turned up at this car park at 5.58pm as I leaned out the window to get the ticket I saw the extortionate prices, which reduced to an evening rate after 6 p.m. however I realise that we would undoubtedly have to pay a small fortune as we turned up before 6 p.m. However, thanks to an EU ruling we in the EU automatically get 15 minutes of parking grace before being charged, so I took the ticket drove through the barriers and then immediately went to the exit barriers and left the car park. However after brexit this may of course change as I'm sure it is in our best interest to be charged more for parking, Rule Britannia!!!

As other reviews, total rip off. Have to pay for 1 hour even if you drive straight out

Obviously Brighton does not want to encourage visitors with cars to their town. For the theatre may as well go to London considering the disgraceful charges for parking. Councils need a reminder that they are there to represent the people and not dictate to them.

Disgusting. Was told on here, it would cost £7.50 - instead charged an outrageous £30

I parked there for the theatre knowing/thinking there was a reduced set charge after 6. But was charged £27.50!!!

DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PARK IN BRIGHTON, we didn't and ended up paying the extortionate sum of £25 and 10 pence for staying just over 4 hours, never been there before and will not be going again, we just followed the blue P signs and that is where we ended up, if one was a cynical type one might be moved to say that the blue P signs could prioritise the dearer car parks, so if you do not know where you are going, thats where you end up, yes, the prices are, after looking again, are clearly posted but we missed them and it hurts like hell.

Pre-booked to stay here during a concert at the dome. However, barriers didn't open as stated, and I had to pay for another stay. NCP never refunded despite their error. Nobody was working at the facility, and there were 30 minute queues for the pay stations after the event. One exit barrier broke, and nobody there to fix it, so chaos ensued. Do yourself a favour and park anywhere but here.

Total rip off. Have vowed never to go to Brighton again and have told all my friends about the the outrageous parking prices.. Came from Kent with a French friend to Royal Pavillion day ruined by outrageous parking fee of £18.00 for 4 hours actually felt ashamed. Then being charged extra if payed with credit card was the final insult.

Beware!
I parked here on a rainy night to go the the Theatre Royal, wondered why there were 2 cars waiting before the barrier. (This was about 5.28pm).
Left just after 10pm - the charge - a positively CRIMINAL £25!!! Apparently because I'd stupidly parked before 5.30.
Of course there's no human with whom to air your grievance and the greedy machine will take the money from your bank card without even entering your PIN!!! (How convenient). Quite took the edge off a pleasant evening.
Complaint to NCP follows!!
Wanted to give zero stars for cost but this is apparently not allowed.

Used this car park when visiting Theatre Royal. Total rip off. No prices displayed until you are at the barrier and at this point you can't turn round and exit. There is a validation machine in the theatre which gives you cheaper parking from 6.00pm but this machine is very small and hidden away in corner, so you have to know about it. But beware, if you arrive before 6.00pm you will be subject to the normal car park prices. We arrived about 4.00pm because we wanted to visit Brighton and have a meal so we ended up paying £15.00 (this included the concession from the theatre). What kind of message does this send out to people visiting and spending their money in Brighton? Won't be parking here again!

A total rip off. No notice on wall outside for prices. Only when you get to the barrier to get ticket, in very small writting. So didnt notice it. Once in car park can't decide to leave as cant get out with out paying. Absolutely disgusting price.
