The car park is ok (basic gravel), price is alright for all day and using the station but of course this is all ruined by giving out parking fines for fun (ticket upside down) here's an idea...make them double sided or sticky (don't doubt the id on the back could confirm a valid ticket)? Of course that doesn't allow you to fine people at the drop of a hat.

Don't park here. You pay and display your ticket and then receive a parking notice

Issue parking fines to people who have paid for a ticket and displayed it but due the fact there is nothing to stick the ticket to the windscreen it has flipped over. This happens regularly. Avoid

I have parked here without problems numerous times now and it is always busy. It is a minutes walk from the shops and at only £2.80 for a day it can save you quite a bit of money. It is nothing fancy, gravel and stones but does the job.

This car park is on rough ground in front of Central Station. Run by a knuckled head who employs underhand tactics. 1. Putting up the daily rate without notice and then placing a charge on every car that failed to read the small print. 2. refusing to acknowledge tickets paid for but that have blown off the dashboard, refusing to accept evidence in writing and passing debt onto ZZPS (previously known as Roxburghe). 3. employing a pretend motorist who has been called away by his boss having just purchased a ticket, he offers the ticket. The ticket turns out not to be legit and the ES issue a penalty charge! Refuse to waive any charges! daily rate £2.50

This car park is patrolled by a bunch of knuckle draggers called ES Parking Enforcement Ltd. If you get a ticket, you can appeal this and get it cancelled quite easily. If you get a ticket, they will say that you have acted outside their stated terms and conditions. However, the signs are confusing as there are 2 different sets of T&C's. One that says you will be fined £100 and another set that is printed on the ticket machines that say you will be clamped. Clamping has been illegal since 1st October 2012. If you write to them and say this, you WILL get off as it is illegal to threaten clamping any more. They aren't going to take you to court and stand in front of a judge and say that they are still threatening clamping as they will probably lose their license. Happy parking everyone!
