Not fit for purpose. Most stressful experience when you have an appointment to go to. Despite going two hours early unless you are lucky you still end up being late, stressed and flustered, sat in crawling traffic all all circling round and round desperately trying to find parking for their appointments. The Hallamshire hospital should have been demolished 20 years ago.

If you have an appointment after 11am don't expect to park in a disabled bay, as there won't be one available. Wheelchair users cannot use any of the other bays on other levels as you can't get out of the car park which has lots of steps and no lift. After driving around for over an hour searching for somewhere else to park I gave up and had to miss my appointment. This has happened 3 times in 6 months. For a large hospital this is appalling.

I parked here when pregnant and had to find a stranger to get my car out of the bay because once someone had parked next to my car we (me and bump) physically didn’t fit in between the cars. No parent and child spaces, no lift, tight as hell, dark and dingy downstairs, cars drive wrong way round upstairs and VERY slippery stairs. Avoid wherever possible!

This hospital car park is the worst I've ever encountered - tiny spaces, ridiculously narrow vehicle exit (damaging wheels) and dangerously slippery stairs - avoid if possible!

After reading the other reviews, we were, pretty much thinking, we best not use this Multi Storey Car park.
We're pleased to say, we've used this Car park twice, in the last month. We have a 4x4 (Nissan X Trail) and we managed to park it, with no problems.

Tiny spaces which do not allow room for getting buggies or wheelchairs. There are no lifts and no walkways so I was forced to walk with a toddler and a buggy in the path of cars. Very dangerou
For parking permit zone boundary, see this pdf file or this online map. Parking is available via pay and display (with max stay 2 hours in some locations) on Crookesmoor Road, Conduit Road, and at the Barber Road ends of Barber Place and Bower Road.
