Went on the 30th January. Stopped at McDonalds. Went to various shops ie Range, Hobbycraft, Pets at home. Then drove across to TKMaxx. We then had to go back to large car park as forgotten something. Received fine today 20th Feb, but apparently issued on the 8th. Stayed 23minutes over apparent time. Now have only 2 days to find £60 or pay £100. Spent a fair bit of money that day. Won't be going back.

Can film your car when you overstay but apparently no cameras when your car has been smashed into and not just a little dent full bumper and side. Funny that apparently only the shops are covered and entrance to fine you for spending money.

Never used to have an issue. Accidentally stayed over the maximum stay period and received a fine. However, the first letter I received is the 'Third' one yet I haven't actually received the first 2. No contact numbers to resolve this situation. Trying to steal £170 from me and threatening that if I do not pay then 'debt collection' will be administered.

How can you be expected to return to a retail park when you receive a £60 fine for spending too long in the shops ?

Jan 6, 2022

Despite being able to park with a Blue Badge, I still have trouble getting round the shops and some days need more time than others.Shoping at the retail park helps as I can do shopping and get something to eat but this time I got a fine after doing my Christmas shopping there.Like many others,I've shopped there for years and had no trouble,Times are difficult as it is,we don't need the extra pressure.

Would give zero.Spend lots of money in Tk Maxx, got a fine of £100 after 3weeks. Never see a sign there. Three hours is not enough to do shopping and eating in KFC.

I have been fined £60.00 for parking to attend a Wren kitchen consultation that DID last over three hours. I at no point saw signs or was made aware of time limits. My advice think twice before visiting Broadheath Retail Park or Wren Kitchens. Both are a con.

Just received a charge of £100 for parking Apparently if you park for over 3 hours they set the £100 charge. Wont be paying. It's appaulling especially with all the Covid queues.

Went Christmas shopping in Altrincham Retail Park, spent hundreds of pounds there, got stuck in a queue at TK Maxx and stayed for 3 and a half hours...the limit is apparently 3 hours, so 3 weeks later I've been issued with a parking ticket. Appalling money-grabbing with no point in appealing the fine and no-one to discuss it with, so I'll simply head to the city centre next time. Will not be returning.

Just received fine for taking dog to vet their. We will now find another vet shop and on line.

Support the business In this hard economic times after lockdown, go out to Altrincham retail park, spend all your money in the shops there and then we’d give you a parking fine if you stay more than 3 hours...this is absolutely ridiculous!!!

Dec 12, 2019

Been shopping for years there and always stayed long time there and after shopping went to eat something this time I spent a lot of money and got hungery so went to KFC it was world most expensive 3 pice chicken would not go to that retail park again and i have never seen sign ,

Never had a fine there as I don’t dawdle about, how you could spent 3 hours there is beyond me. It’s common knowledge that all retail parks/supermarkets have cameras to control parking. The reason why you can hardly find spaces these days is because of people taking too long. If you’ve got a fine then that’s your own fault. My only gripe about the retail park hence the 4 stars is the access, with only one route in and out it can get congested.

Dec 7, 2019

Should be ZERO stars! I've shopped here for years, and never once seen any signs saying there is a time limit! Spent over 3 hours there at Saturday, spent a small fortune on Christmas gifts in 5 different stores, and just received a £60 fine!! Ridiculous!! It's a retail park...of course people will be there for over 2 hours at Christmas!! What if you were eating AND shopping whilst there! Safe to say, I will be appealing!

Dec 4, 2019

Just received a fine for shopping there out of the blue. Never realised there was a time limit as never saw any signs. Always thought it was free to shoppers. Somy shopping expense has just risen by £60 for using this car park! Is it fair? No. Will it make me think twice about shopping there again? yes.

Sep 4, 2019

Would rate it 0 star if i could. Literally getting fined for spending more time (and £££) at this retail park, insane!Avoid shopping there at all cost!

May 24, 2019

I've shopped here and worked here for years and never noticed any signs. The so called signs should be made clear on your way into the retail park and not stuck on shop walls ect. Even with glasses on my eyesight is not the best and so I don't try to read shop signs as this causes straining of the eye muscles leading to migraines. Spent over £500 in the 4 hours we were there only to be get a fine of £60-£100. The retail outlets should be alarmed as they are losing customers and I for 1 will NOT be spending my money there anymore

May 3, 2019

Got fined £60 for parking 3 hours, avoid at all costs!

Mar 12, 2019

Just recieved a £100 parking fine for staying just over 3 hours which I don't think is unresaonable in a retail park with so many shops. It is a free car park but apparently time restrictions apply (not well advertised) - BEWARE!

Mar 5, 2019

I spent 3hrs shopping and got charged 60 pounds..won't go there again..It's a retail park obviously I need more than 2hrs to go around the shops. Will go to tkmaxx in Stanley Green instead at least can park for free!!!!

Jan 7, 2019

Do not shop there, my daughter got a £60 fine because she stayed too long, spent a bloody fortune there Xmas shopping , won’t go back.

Dec 27, 2018

£60 fine just had to pay! No clear signage to inform of any restrictions for time allowed! Outrageous! I will spread the word to people NOT to shop there especially after I had spent a fortune.

Aug 23, 2018

Just received a £60 parking fine. Won’t be shopping there again! Spent a fortune in the shops. Makes you want to shop online!!!

Aug 17, 2018

Avoid shopping at Broadheath. I went with my daughter shopping at the Range, pets at home, Homebase
