Can I give no stars ? A parking charge of £70 for going one minute over .... and as mentioned above Tracy was gleeful in telling me to pop in again if I get a fine...not likely !! Too scared...

Very disappointed. The self service checkout kept glitching. Which extended my stay to over 2 hrs. I had a voucher from the checkout -I’d spent £50. Thought I could stay over 2hrs if I spent more than £5. I now have a £40 fine. I’ll appeal but if I loose I won’t shop there again. So disappointed !

Stayed for 1hr 40mins - and got parking fine. Letter arrived on 29 February, clearly delayed in getting to me, and had to pay £70 (instead of £40 because of delay in receiving letter which wasn’t my fault). They don’t care at Parking Eye. Total con, basically stealing money. Criminal act. Always shopped at Asda. Will take my business elsewhere after this.

Two hours and three minutes. I went to customer services as asked. Spoke to Tracy at customer service. Told her I was three minutes over the two hours. She seemed to take delight in saying there's nothing she can do to help. I won't be using Asda again.

Spent £120 so I was in the store for more time than usual, I was 3hours 4minutes and thought you were given 5 minutes grace but no... just received a fine for £40. Won't use Asda again

I came to buy groceries and even paid £1 for 1 hour and still ended up getting a £40 charge. It's really disappointing and a shame i won't be shopping there again nor eat at your McDonalds again.

In the hospital where i work, i would look after you with all love and care, to start with is a free parking for patients whilst we nurses would find our own spaces elsewhere( outside the hospital) to accommodate and prioritise you as our clients. That’s how ASDA should care for their customers especially in this challenging times.

Be warned I got done £40 for two hours 15 minutes. I won't be going there again. Other supermarkets are more customer friendly. Asda's loss. My usual spend was over £100.

I have just received a parking fine from over a month ago! I like many others found the rules and regulations confusing so much so i asked an Asda employee for help due to me visiting and not been local. I asked if you stayed longer than 3 hours do you get charged accordingly he confirmed that would be okay. Upon my return the machine told me to visit Customer Services in the store. The lady I spoke with was less than helpful and told me to expect a £70 fine. Not what I wanted to hear! It was almost as though she enjoyed telling me the bad new! Disgusting and a complete scam!

Massive scam. Keep getting caught out despite doing the right thing. First two times the manager helped us and reversed and now he won't. DONT USE ASDA unless u want a fine! U have to pay even if u have paid the extra time!

was in there car park for 2 hours 20sec and get fine ! When you read the sign not clear ,90 mins free,2 hours £1, O yes lets put 90mins and catch the good Public out !. It took us 15mins and 22seconds to get out of the Bloody car park! Christmas Fun !!! As i was not in a bay i will not be paying this as my wheels where moving..

Fair and clear parking charges are fine. This is a scam, deliberately confusing. Despite what asda say its there responsible. Just contempt for there customers.

I just received a parking ticket for 2 hours 11 mins after spending more than £5. It is supposed to be free for 3 hours. I am not paying it.

Rubbish parking. Rules are terribly confusing - free stay is only under 1h, after that you need to pay and their machines are always broken down! Every time I parked there only one was operational and it's tucked away so neatly it's near impossible to find. Parking staff is rude and unprofessional.Good thing is you can ignore their bloody fines and they can't do anything about it 'cause they are charging them illegally!

What a scam I parked here for 30mins and got s 70 pound fine I thought it was free for 3 hours not clear at all

I was parked there for just over 3 hours, went to the machine, put my registration plate in and paid to extend it for 1 hour. I then get a parking ticket through saying I have a fine. Some advice, make your machine clearer to honest people who have paid instead of conning them into think they have paid and then sending a fine through the post. If you are that desperate for money you have to deceive people in order to gain money from them, you shouldn’t have a car park. Absolutely ridiculous.

Received a £70 charge for parking at just before 11pm on 20/2/18. After shopping in Asda, I ended up sitting in the car park chatting to my girlfriend, but still left well before the 3 hour limit, so why have I now got a fine???

We parked in area car park for 2hours and 20 mins and we have a ticket I thought it was 3 hours free for asda customers I have appealed but last time i parked in the car park i paid for a ticket the staff said to me that I didn't need to pay for a ticket as i was less then 3 hours and I have to go on line for a refund so what are the rules

Firstly i got one car park ticket even though i paid as their machines were printing off blank receipts. I appealed to parking eye and submitted my bank statement showing my £2.00 payment. They still rejected it. I'm now appealing to popla. Today another ticket comes through the post stating I was parked for 2 hours and 6 minutes as i took my son to McDonalds after shopping. 3 hours free i thought?

I got a parking ticket 23/12/17 when the shop was very busy I was there for 2 hours 16 minutes I thought it was free up to 3 hours

I excised my parking stay, got a ticket, send them my shopping receipt and everything was ok.

The same for me.I have excedeed the 3h by 40min.I Didn t mean to, and as you I thought I could pay for the extra hours.Also the machine tells you to go and see the customer service with your shopping receipt and parking voucher.I went and the lady there was rude and inconsiderate,She just told me that it was not her problem and that I would have get a fine.Nothing she could do,And she repeated that wasn t her problem.

it was very easy to park and pay, they made it so complicated, and the Customer service staff are very rude, I exceeded the 3 hours and thought I can just pay the extra time as was explained to me by one of ASDA staff on the day, instead the customer service woman accused me of being stupid and not reading the clear labels!! charming she commented what do you think you want to park your car and go shopping for free?? I said, I told you I'm happy to pay as I was under the impression that extra time after 3 hours is payable, and then she replied, it's not my problem go and speak with the car park people, very helpful indeed, I always shop from ASDA, not anymore with this complicated parking and rude customer service that can explain or deal with customers. will be very much cheaper to park at the county mall
