The parking meters have been out of action for weeks but i have today received a ticket for staying longer than 2hours. This is how they are recouping their parking fees. Very shady in the current economic climate. £70 or £40 if paid within 14 days. Be very careful. No one has money to throw away.

Not a bad car park but you have to buy a ticket but can get refund if you spend more than £5 in asda

Whilst there is no on-site parking there are several ideally located pay and display car parks, aswell as other pay on street parking and pay and display car parks.

The best placed parking would be SiP car park at end of John Street,

Opposite Stockport Magistrates Court on Edward Street next to Halfords.

On street pay & display further down Middle Hillgate or Hopes Carr

Nearest Free Parking is along Canal Street (but very busy at times)
