Asda Eastgate - Car Park 5

I drive out not realising the time, wasn’t sure if I was over by 5 mins, couldn’t get back in. No one on gates. I was on the phone for over an hour trying to find some way to pay. I couldn’t book a slot or pay over the phone. They wouldn’t allow. It’s disgusting. They need a barrier or a ticket on entry. They do this on purpose so people don’t realise.

I've seen rats running around near old shopping trollies broken glass rubbish never cleared up .this was Thursday 9th November health hazard

I parked in Asda car park Basildon to day stepped out of car and cut my foot on glass the rubbish strewn about is disgusting does anyone ever clean this car park up

totally agree, disgusting. i am a blue badge holder (newbie) i was told by another blue badge holder we have free 3 hrs then an extra hour to get back to our car because of the disability, went 40 minutes over then received a parking fine in the post, i too tried to contact them for advice & pay over the phone to find i could only get through to them to pay the fine & no general customer support number, totally disgusting.

Parked for more than 4 hours. Paid it using contactless card it gave us a receipt. (Assuming pay has gone through) 3 weeks later I received a fine saying I didn't pay. Ofcourse i assumed that since i used my card to pay and it gave me receipt there will be no problem. Partner throwed the receipt away. Checked my bank statement for proof but nothing. Just wonder why did it gave me a receipt in the first place. It left me without a choice but to pay for a fine thats not even my fault.

Payed for my ticket and still got a parking fine. Con artists. Won’t be parking there again.

It should be a ticket available for collection on entry to the car park to be able to control parking time

The multi storey car park is disgusting. Broken windows in the exit doors, rubbish and excrement in the stairwells.

Criminals steal car parts. Be aware.

I left the car park in an emercency only going 20 minutes over I didnt pay but realised afterwards and tried to pay another way there should be other ways to pay if you leave the car park in a hurry. I tried online but couldnt pay unless I had a fine.

This car park underneath Asda is a health hazard.It's filthy with oil from cars, pidgeon mess, rubbish from take aways and even vomit. As it i covered and therefore not open to rainfall I am surprised that the parking surface is never cleaned. Until very recently we have paid to park here...I have to be careful where I place my feet it is an absolute disgrace.Come on owners spend some of our fees on a clean up!

No strict enough on parent and child. I have literally tri d to park and watch a man pull into parent and child with no child asked him politely to move and he refused even though I have my 3 year old with me
