The car park is open from 8am and closes at dusk, from 4.30pm to 9pm.
Visiting UK in rental vehicle, taking a disabled relative on a very rare outings for her to burnham beeches, parking in disabled and showing her badge, now to get not only a fine for parking BUT also charged £35 from the car hire company for each visit. Tried several times to speak to someone and each time only get a robot
I second the remark about parking charges with a warning about disabled parking. Suddenly and without any prominently displayed signs disabled parking is free but you have to register the car AS WELL via email. Result, another ill-gotten £70 for the council coffers, or perhaps it goes to the parking company, who knows? Only this time it's at the expense of a vulnerable person.
The signs in the car park clearly state that the parking is free on a bank/public holiday. However, I did that on 3rd June (Bank holiday for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee) and am now having to now pay a penalty charge of £70. This is appalling, and I warn others so that they do not fall into what seems to be a quick money making scheme for the local council.
