Derbion - Bradshaw Way

Parked for under 3 hrs, paid my £5.50 at pay machine but then had to pay £1.60 more at the barrier. This needs looking at by the parking association as it is a double charge with no mention of it at pay station. I may even lodge a complaint with Derbion. Avoid this car park and use the main one instead. Rip off.

This car park is a complete rip off. Paid at the paying station near the entrance then upon exit, the barriers should have picked up my reg with the camera but instead the barriers remained down so like everyone else in this chat, paid twice. Is this even legal just because it’s a private run carpark, surely they cannot charge you twice. Unless next time I just pay at the exit barrier and not at the paying station first. Maybe that is how to crack the code!

I turned into the carpark in error and couldn't back out onto the busy road, so had no choice but to enter through the barrier- I drove straight through and out the exit and had to pay £4 for my mistake. It's no wonder nobody wants to go into Derby anymore. Awful

Paid the £4 fee for 2 hours parking and then the exit barrier wanted me to pay another £1.60. I'd walked from the pay station to my car, gotten in, planned the route and exited promptly, so this extra half hour charge will get everyone who has done shopping or has a child. Tried ringing through on the barrier but no answer so no choice but to pay the fee. Absolute rip off.

Paid £4.00 for less then 2 hrs but then the barrier would not go up till I paid £1.60 . Shall not use again , looking at reviews it’s happening a lot , needs sorting out !

Cost me £10 for 3 hours!!! And then charged me a further £1.60 to exit. Absolutely shocking and doesn’t feel safe leaving your car there. There were a lot of people hanging around the cars at night

Still let cars through the barrier even though there were no parking spaces left ,several cars waiting in anticipation for a space to become available,went straight through DID NOT PARK but still had to pay £1.50 for the pleasure of going from entrance to exit in under a minute!! Total rip off ,just a cash cow, should not have let cars in if no actual spaces available.

Absolute extortionate rates and despite paying £5.50 for 3 hour parking, the barrier did not go up and they charged me an additional £1.50. Will not be using that car park again. Money grabbing thieves.

I used this carpark on the 17/12/22, and was in the carpark for less than 30mins. I paid at the pay station as normal. Went to the barrier in my car and was asked to paily again. I have been charges twice. It is a rubbish system, I was conscious of other cars coming and waiting behind me so I paid again so I could go and not hold up anyone

Just got charged £10 as I went over 3 hour ridiculous, then they wonder why people don’t come shopping in the city centre

I went in to do a drop and took poss less than 2mins from entering to exiting. Had to pay £10.

Very unclear that you have to pay when you enter the car park from the busy road and once you go in the cameras have picked up your reg plate, so you have no choice but to pay. This shouldn’t be legal. I suspect they pick up numerous people who haven’t seen the pay booth and send them a fine in the post.

I wanted to take something back to matalan not paying £1-50 , discussing ,can’t try clothes on because the changing rooms are closed . Free parking at the Burton store
