This car park charges are complete scam. You can easily spend 2h of time when in b&q or wicked when picking up flooring tiles etc. People park there because they have to have access to the store not because its a nice place to park. Absolutely ridiculous to charge £100 for this when people spending money at your retail park.

Friend just go a fine. The notice was illegible we checked and thought it said 3 hours not 2.

Parked in B&Q car park and shopped in B&Q, Wickes, Lidl and Screwfix. Met a friend and had a coffee in Costco. Had a fine of £100, £60 if paid in 14 days. Going to B&Q to see if they can get it overturned as I shop there all the time and staff know me. If they won't I wont shop there again and just order online.

Awful my mum is disabled & parked with her disabled badge she went over the 3 hour limit as she cannot walk very well she spent alot of money in the new look & then went to m & s to do food shopping she then went into Starbucks for a drink & has now received a fine !! Why would you ever put restaurants to entice people to stay longer so they have to pay this fine she didn’t even realise there was a time limit none of my family will ever be shopping here again very disappointing there should be no food places or a longer time restriction disgusting

Went to B&Q to look at options, drove over to wicks to compare. Back to B&Q to buy - I have a £100 fine for browsing before I buy - I was in carpark at B&Q for a total of 30 minutes in a 2 hour limit! BUT because I left and returned I get a fine! What a joke!!!

Annoyed I received a fine for going to boots with prescription and told I need to come back later to collect medication. Why wasn't informed of this new arrangement of no return within 2 hours

May 3, 2023

Watch out for coming back within 2hours as you will get fined. If you go to B&Q and can’t get in car don’t come back for 2 hours as you will get fined

Do not shop here just received a £100 parking fine for shopping in new look , boots , Clark’s and a bit of lunch in m&s better off shopping somewhere else!!! Spent a lot of money that day now having to spend a lot more for nothing!! Why have shops and a restaurant where you can’t get all the shopping you need and definitely having a restaurant and encouraging people to spend time they obviously don’t have!!! Never shopping here again sorry newlook , boots m&s and river island this place is not customer friendly!!!!

Parking In Keynsham

Blue Badge Holders Parking

About the Scheme

The concessions apply to on-street parking and include free use of pay-and-display bays. Badge holders may also be exempt from limits on parking times imposed on others and can park for up to three hours on single and double yellow lines, as long as they are not causing an obstruction and the badge and time clock are displayed (except where there is a ban on loading or unloading or other restrictions).

Keynsham Controlled Parking Zones

Blue Badge Holders may park in the same controlled parking zones as resident and business permit holders. The badge must be clearly displayed at all times during the restricted hours. The restricted times are usually Mon- Sat 8am to 6pm, zone entry signs at all vehicle entry points to a zone will indicate the times and days that the restrictions apply.

On-Street Designated Disabled Parking Bays

These are primarily found in town centres and will have a sign to show that the bay is restricted for use by badge holders only. Enforcement action is taken against non badge holders or if the badge is not clearly displayed.

Yellow Line Waiting Restrictions

Parking on double and single yellow lines is permitted for a period up to three hours providing you clearly display a valid blue badge and set the time clock.

You are not allowed to park on yellow lines when loading restrictions are in force or where you would cause an obstruction such as parking in front of a dropped kerb. Loading restrictions are indicated by yellow line markings along the kerb.
