Awful carpark regulary cant get in due to broken barriers, worse still you cant get out on leaving work as the barriers break, massive queues inside of up to an hour to exit disgraceful

Paid £12 for running just over 1 hour parking. I thought £6 for the hour was bed enough as it's not central but tipping over the next hour is a pain - at these prices why not charge by the minute and not the hour?

Awful facilities. Nothing works; entry and exist barriers are frequently broken as are the ticket machines. I've been unfortunate enough to have been stuck in one of the lifts on four separate occasions. I wouldn't mind so much if it was dirt cheap, but it's not. It's really expensive. My advice, if you can, is to park somewhere else.

Awful carpark. Alarm perpetually sounding next to the pay station. One paystation out-of-order. The other not working properly so that a queue formed behind the customer, who was unable to get a receipt. I paid at the exit barrier but didn't get a receipt either, even though I spoke specifically to the people on the intercom. I think, if you pay these sorts of prices for parking, you kinda expect everything to work.

Excellent car park in a prestigious office area. Safe, well light, easy to navigate with reasonable prices.

Parking in Leeds

A number of commercial companies and Leeds City Council (Parking Services 0113 395 0050) operate car parks in the city with varying pricing structures.

There are large car parks situated near the major shopping centres in the city centre. These include 'The Light', 'The Merrion Centre', the 'Corn Exchange' and 'Woodhouse Lane'.

There are also a number of pay and display areas in the city, but finding an available space during normal shopping hours can be a challenge.

There are good public transport links within the city and it is often easier to park a bit further out and take the bus into town.

Leeds City Council also uses the Parkmobile app on smart phone for cashless parking in its open air car parks. See parkmobile.com for more information
