Would not even give this car park a rating....but it’s making me give a 1....!!!! It was awful!!!! DO NOT leave your vehicle in this car park.... we were broken into overnight on Friday along with at least 3 others and there was more glass in parking bays with the cars gone!!!! States it has cameras and locked gates.... it has neither!!!! It states it shuts at 23.00 but a guy we met parked his car after midnight and he also got broken into!!!! Amoungst all the chaos that was going on Saturday morning a guy then turns up on a push bike trying to get money of us for the homeless!!!! I would not leave a car here again even if NCP paid me too!!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!!

Parked here because they had electric car charging points, but it's completely useless. There are no parking bays for the chargers, and if you park there, it will block the entrance! Absolutely pointless!

Filthy and disgusting. Urine has to be walked through to exit onto High St. Unsavoury characters loiterin - no sign of "Manned" personnel the park claims to offer. Needs CCTV but guess that's been tried and someone removed and sold the camera! On the plus side it is inexpensive for London and well positioned for many key areas around Commercial Road/Whitechapel and Aldgate

The car park was filthy and disgusting..we saw a rat the size of a small dog run under the cars. the overpowering smell of Urine around the car park was sickening. There were also some unpleasant looking people hanging around the car park who made us nervous. Very bad place!!

Left car here and it was broken into while parked overnight. Wasn't their responsibility apparently. Window broken.

Parking in Shad Thames (London, SE1)

Shad Thames, also known as Butler's Wharf, is an area in South London bounded by the River Thames, Tower Bridge Road, Tooley Street, Mill Street and St. Saviour's dock.

Parking around Shad Thames can be a bit difficult during the day if you do not have an allocated residential parking permit, as the area is within a Controlled parking zone (CPZ), meaning that only residents can park on some of the streets Mon-Fri 8:30-18:30.

If you are visiting the area on a weekday during the day, use pay and display or there is a also Q-Park car park on Gainsford street which is in the heart of Shad Thames.
