Went to swimming competition at ponds forge so parked at Q-park castlegate as you receive a 50% off voucher. Went to pay and the voucher doesn’t work so had to pay full but the person on the other end of the call for assistance button said it would be refunded by filling out a form on their website. Don’t believe it!! Filled out form but they refused to honour the 50% off said I would have to supply the voucher as proof knowing fine well the machine takes the voucher! Spoke to Q-park and was told it’s company policy not to refund after payment no matter what even if their vouchers don’t work which they confirmed that they don’t always which in itself is quite shocking. When I did complain about the unfairness they got aggressive and rude just think if they issue vouchers they should honour them.

Very good parking place, easy to pay, near to town centre, one way in, two way out, automatic roller door at entrance and exit, make sure you pay the ticket in the lobby before moving out, you can always stop at the barrier and go back to lobby, but that's just waste of time and may lead block the traffic. I can only find space above level4, space for cars a bit narrow. Overall, it's a super parking.

Very good parking place, near town centre, easy to paid, make sure you pay it before you moving out, cause if you scan the unpaid ticket the barrier won't rise, I didn't know it so I need to go back lobby and pay the ticket. May need to drive to higher level to find a space but no worries cause lift is available. Single way in, double way out.

Convenient for the Primark end of the city centre. Expensive. Secure - rolling shutters and ticket required to re-enter.
For parking permit zone boundary, see this pdf file or this online map. Parking is available via pay and display (with max stay 2 hours in some locations) on Crookesmoor Road, Conduit Road, and at the Barber Road ends of Barber Place and Bower Road.
