ANPR cameras upon entering. They expect you to pay before you go in the car park even though you don’t know how. As soon as you enter and whilst your parking you would be issued a ticket by then. Scam! Avoid!

Avoid at all costs. I was sent a parking charge and appealed on the grounds that I parked for for SEVEN MINUTES whilst trying to download the app to pay. Message received saying ‘facility was not available’ so I left and parked elsewhere. Tried appealing this but Parking Eye want £100 and are threatening legal action. I had no intention of not paying for parking. Absolute scam, AVOID this car park.

Received a fine for ‘overstaying’. Had paid £2 for two hours and stayed approx 1hr 45mins. They now gave new machines and upped the charges. Unfortunately cannot prove this was done after our visit. There were no new machines when we visited on the 31.10.2022! Definitely been ripped off.

Payed on the app PayByPhone two days in a row as the parking meter was not working got parking tickets for both of them absolute scam they know exactly what they are doing

Absolute rubbish car park. The machines do not work despite paying. Disgusting, avoid at all costs. I got a parking ticket fine of £60 because they cant install new machines. Pathetic!!!!

Went to this car park and put my car reg and money into the machine (£4). Machine said 'please take ticket' however no ticket was dispensed as there was no paper left. Other machine was out of order. Rang the number on the board and it was an automated number asking for the reference, when I entered the reference on the board it told me it was incorrect several times. I then had to use the pay by phone service and pay another £4 online. No email address or phone number to allow me to complain and get my refund for having to pay double the parking fee. I imagine they made a fortune that day as there will have been plenty of other people doing the same!

Parked up on this site, checked for payment instructions and found none. Went to the machine and again there were no instructions saying when you pay. I thought it was pay and display - ParkingEye shouldn't assume everyone knows their payment system. I entered my reg and paid a pound. I was expecting my ticket to have an “expiry time”. There wasn’t one. Unsure of what type of payment car park this was I called the phone number on the board for help. All I got was an automated option of setting up an account or paying by phone. I simply wanted to know if this was pay and display. Walked around the car park looking for boards which would tell you this simple fact. All I found were boards saying what the parking tariffs were and a warning of £100 fine if you fail to pay. I got back in my car and left as I didn’t want to risk a fine. Checked their website to suggest they post clear instructions on their car parks and there is no contact number, no email address. It’s simply set up to pay fines or appeal.
