Pay machines not working today on visit so unable to pay when leaving now im going to get a fine because both card ticket machines broken

I just love the wording of the announcement of increase to parking charges by this health trust. They write of a 'modest 50p increase'. Since when was 20% a modest increase?

Rarely enough spaces to park and the payment machines have been faulty the last few days including telling me my ticket was faulty and the barriers lifted without it being put in the exit barrier which was confusing as it hadn’t let me pay, begged not send me a fine for this!

Total inadequate car park size for this major hospital why dont they build a multi storey car park as St James Leeds Disabled parking badge displayed and parked on double yellow lines, with no kerb markings or prohibited parking notice Ticket been given for not parking in a designated bay in accordance with T&Cs, not actually displayed in the area Ticket issuer actually damaged my self park wipers by lifting them out if the well when not in 'service mode' I will not be paying any charge and will be issuing a counter claim for wiper repairs

Completely inadequate for a hospital to size of pinders. Idiots parking where they want, on double yellows and grass verges! Today even saw a complete fool parking nr the exit

One star but would be less than zero if an option. Arrived today as my husband had been transferred there for emergency surgery. I was upset and just wanted to get in to see him. Drove around for 40 minutes no spaces at all everyone parked on grass verges double yellow etc I had to park on the walkway. Been in hospital 12 hours each day for two days, tired hungry worried upset, paid over £20 in parking and get a fine. I am disgusted beyond words it’s an absolute disgrace provide more parking

This car park is appalling it costs an absolute fortune if you do manage to find a space IF but there is no security patrolling the car park itself so people park on pedestrian areas and on the grass verges and double yellow lines making it impossible to get round the bends in some places. It really needs looking into

We drove around the car park for 30 mins to try and park up for an appointment for my 4 year old. People Ignoring the one way system to push past into spaces that pop up. So dangerous and rude. I had to ring ahead to the hospital that we were going to be late for the appointment. I allowed plenty of time to find parking etc. Absolutely appalling. People parking on grass verges, yellow lines and pedestrian crossing out of sheer desperation to get to their appointments. This also made it very difficult and dangerous to drive cars around the car park as to not clip any other vehicles parked where they shouldn’t be. Something needs to be done as there isn’t enough spaces to meet the demands of patients. Horrible experience.

My daughter is a staff nurse at pinderfield hospital and pays monthly for staff parking. Upon the completion of a 13hr shift with no breaks, she returns to her car to find a parking ticket for not displaying her pass which had fallen from her dashboard into the footwell of her car. Total profiteering from hard working NHS staff.

Outrageous that the hospital management can’t tell the private robbing car park company to stop fining people for parking,whilst two of the car parks are shut and have been for over a year

A lot of disabled parking bays are out of action due to building work around the main entrance. so you may have to go into the main visitors car park .and pay even if you are a blue badge holder..Raise.your issue with the car parking security they may let you park for free but Raise it before you pay.

Disgraceful parking situation,cost me £40 as I had to park as near as possible as I was picking someone up wha was unable to walk and I am disabled and cannot walk more than 100 metres

Terrible dangerous patient visitor car park with other visitors not following the one way system and dumping cars all over the place on pathways and the once grass verge which is now just mud. Visitors even leaving their cars blocking the actual exit barriers. Ticket them all as this car park has become seriously unsafe and hugely over capacity. The lazy security staff allow cars queuing for up to 45 mins to just get out of the actual car park due to the huge numbers not parked in a bag. Disgraceful that too many selfish patients are risking others by parking legally

Appalling no spaces drive got a £40 fine for parking on walk in at left plenty of room for pedestrians. Many other cars had done the same . Also parked on double yellow lines and on the very muddy grass verges. Something needs to be done .

Total nightmare. Had to park on verge then saw notice threatening £70 fine for not parking in marked bay. Wife went in to visit sister but I ended up driving half a mile to park at building site entrance and wait for a call to pick up. Totally inadequate parking provision.

After travelling round the car park for ten minutes there were no spaces my car wouldn’t ride the curb onto the grass verge which was also pretty full I had to park on a yellow line to collect my daughter who has a brain tumour. To receive a £40 fine is just Profiteering

Unfortunatelly, I couldn’t pay for my parkkng as it said that my ticket was faulty, it wasn’t bent or anything.

Went to the hospital to find car park near entrance dug up and fenced off. All the spaces at the bottom end of disabled car park (nearest to entrance) taken by staff (displaying staff parking badges) I was unable to walk to entrance and unable to attend my appointment.

The large carpark is too far away from hospital entrance for disabled people!

pay after parking which is good when you have little control over your stay time and you can pay by card / or get change if you over pay. Agree about awkward 1 way system.

Up to 20 mins free. 1 way system within car park that often means you can see a space but have to go a long way round to get to it and leads to many people going the wrong way down the lanes.
