Oh dear.Met by a smug, rotund security guy.He had a smirk at all times. It would be nice if these guys were even a bit customer based? Unfortunately, they couldn't even supervise a door. I had the fortune of meeting the GM of Riverside. Its like meeting royalty not!A poisoned dwarf. Go to the new Rose lane car park. Its cheaper and lots more up to date. Riverside car park will become history, just like the tired security, that are no good for anything else. The security are glorified car park attendants.Useless!

Rose lane car park is cheaper. There really is no point in putting up with the confusing charges, broken lifts, etc. As for the security.Really nasty, unprofessional job worths. I saw a woman who had lost her ticket, with her kids, reduced to tears when forced to pay £20. This is totally unacceptable. The security seemed to be enjoying themselves. I won't ever give this place one penny of my money.

I find it hard to give it one star. This place is the most woeful place ever.DO NOT USE IT. Really horrible security.Drab, old carpark, ridiculous charges did I say, awful security, with horrible double chins. These people are the lowest ever. Don't bother, its an awful dark place.

£20 for over 5 hours now - will never park there for the train again! rip off!

Oct 19, 2015

BEWARE - don't select Rail Users option if you're just dropping off a friend, like I did. 50 minutes later I was being charged £8 !!! Complete rip-off ; no prices displayed that you'll see on your way in (they are on a wall you drive PAST before getting to the barrier). AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - VERY DISSATISFIED :(

A good place NOT to park if you don't want to be ripped off. I parked there for just over 5 hours, yet this put me in a time slot of 5-24 hours, resulting in a charge of £20. What an absolute joke. Why not have parking charges that are fair for the time you actually spend there? Being charged the same amount for 5 hours as someone who parks there for 24 hours is completely unfair and I will never be giving this car park any of my money again. Avoid.

After queuing patiently for 30 minutes to park in your Riverside car park Saturday night, I pulled into the car park around 16:45 and pushed the button to get my ticket. As soon as I pushed the button I quickly realised I had accidentally pushed the wrong ticket machine and requested a 'Rail' Ticket which is a set price of £8. (this is clearly a new system as was not there last time I visited Riverside in November 2014.) As soon as I realised my error, I automatically pushed the button on the other machine to get a 'standard' ticket but It would not issue me one. I proceeded through the barrier and found a space to park. I went straight to the ticket office to explain what had happened and the staff member went to seek advice of a senior member of staff. After explaining my situation to the gentleman he was very abrupt and told me tough luck, my mistake, my problem. I am extremely disappointed with how unsympathetic the man was to my stsituation and made no attempts to understand or begin to help me. I am

I parked on 22 October 2014 at 10:00. The Rail users' machine was "closed" so I took a Leisure users' ticket. I spoke to the intercom to check I would be charged the rail users' fee only to be told no. It was too late to park elsewhere so I tried to get it validated in the station. I was told that there are only a few allocated rail users' spaces and these are mostly filled early on by staff! So, in fact, a rail user does not get any discount and is charged the exorbitant price of £20 for just over 12 hours parking. Outrageous. I shall NEVER park there again. This should be a zero star rating.

Apr 14, 2014

Admittedly it is over a year since I last parked in Riverside Multi-storey, but was absolutely shocked today: I parked at 11-30 on Thursday 10th April and recovered my car today (14th) at 17.30. IE the car was parked there during five consecutive days. The parking ticket was validated at the railway station, so I was expecting to pay £30. Imagine the shock/horror when the bill came to £86!!! As previously mentioned by another writer, an increase of over 150%. Scandalous!!! The company will price itself out of business.

Nov 19, 2013

Rip off! If the prices were displayed on a easily visible board at the entrance, there is no way we would have parked here. We arrived around 4pm on Sunday afternoon, collected our car at 10.30pm and were charged £20. Disgusting.

Sep 15, 2013

Dishoest misleading advertising of prices. I was grossly overcharged and look forward to receiving a complimentary payback. Was expecting to pay £12.oo for 30 hours parking for railway use with validated ticket and was charged £28

May 9, 2013

I parked for a day expecting to pay £6 as a rail user and as it was advertised but I was charged £8. Explanation: you have to be there early morning before the rail-user allocation has gone. Huh! You find out afterwards. And now you find the charge has gone up to £20 ... yes, take notice ... £20. Outrageous increase. If the taxi companies keep a decent price and provide a service, then good luck to them.

Apr 11, 2013

Never really liked this car park - dingy, cramped and full of jobsworths but at only £6 a day it was ok. Now moved from £6 to £20 a day with no warning so I'm pleased to say I will never use it again.

Apr 7, 2013

Another Beware!! I can only endorse what has already been said regarding the price increases from; 1st April 2013. For rail travellers, pricing appears to have increased from £6 to £20 per day! Which is a bit steep when you’re lead to believe its £6 per day on a validated ticket. Looking at this, Riverside Entertainment appear to have changed their business plan and no longer want rail customers. Other option is to park at; Norwich Station - Station Approach Example charges; £ 9.00 / 24h (peak) £ 7.90 / 24h (off-peak) £38.30 / week

Apr 3, 2013

ANOTHER BEWARE! I have used this carpark occasionally for overnight business trips to London over the past 3/4 years. The over night charge excluding any rail user discount has been £8 making a 2 day trip £16. The bill for parking today was £40 instead of £16! There are no visible notices alerting you prior to parking of the increase and the first I was aware of the increase was when I inserted my parking ticket in the machine - too late to park elsewhere. The security attendant maintains the price increases were advertised for a week; not much use to an occasional user. There were other unhappy travellers who had also not been aware of the unjustifiable increase in charges. I will not use this carpark again, there are other car parks nearby Rose Lane?

Apr 2, 2013

BEWARE! as from 1st April the cost for day parking has increase by 150% to £20. Also the number of rail places has been reduced to 70, which means unless you leave well before 7am the full day rate is payable. These increases were not advertised just imposed. Happy Easter!!!!

Mar 29, 2013

The validation process doesn't work properly. Had my ticket validated immediately after buying it in the morning. The machine asked for £8 in the evening. An attendant was nearby sorting out some other ticket problem and he retrieved my ticket. I had to take it to the kiosk to pay my £6 - lesson learned - don't pay the wrong charge, call the attendant.

Sep 6, 2012

WHY does it say on a large sign, you can park all day for £6.00 then when you go to pay it charges you £8.00. It's a con that's what it is!! If the charge has gone up to £8.00 then you would think they'd change the bl***y sign!!

Sep 4, 2012

Git a ticket had it validated at Norwich Railway Station, put it in machine on return and was charged £8 instead of £6. Called at the manned kiosk for refund of £2 to be told they couldn't do it as we should have gone to see them before putting ticket into machine. Slightly confused at that as without putting ticket in machine I wouldn't have known I was being overcharged. Then told they couldn't do anything about it but next time I needed to contact them before putting ticket in machine (stupid answer). Whatever happened to customer service. Simple matter to refund the £2.
