2.5 hours is not enough time if you want to do shopping and have lunch. Not everyone wants to dash in and out. Doesn't this retail park want people to meet friends for lunch and spend time and money in the businesses there? The fines for overstay are a complete rip off. I've never been to this retail park before and will not be going there again.

DONT park here a rip of company will fine you what ever donot park here as it will cost you so much they are robbers

Jan 21, 2023

Shop here at least twice a month and have done for years never had an issue. Got caught out on the 2/01/23 by the football after arriving at 11.33. Couldn’t get out of the car park as the access and exit to this retail park is the worst I’ve ever seen. Finally got out at 14.32 after sitting waiting for the traffic only to get a fine. This retail park is losing business fast and will continue to do so with these thieves operating this rip off culture.

Perfectly situated and more than adequate time to shop. Please don't moan about the fact that you're charged for not getting off the car park within 2.5 hours - just manage your time better.......What a total bellend!!!! Obviously single with no life and no friends.

Dec 24, 2022

Great car park, easy access. And fab time limit. If you intend to stay longer go to the pay car park and you then wont get a fine. The shops are great and fab for a drop In shop and drive out. I don't see why people need to complain about the parking fines, manage your time better. I know that if I'm going for a while I set a timer on my phone with 30 mins to spare. Whoop de do for the perfect one. You even said yourself "If you intend to stay for longer " Set your alarm 30 mins early. 99% of customers are genuine shoppers. I hope you go again, take 31 mins to get our of the carpark and see if you're as quick with your comments. Get the same fine as everyone else and see how smart you are then!

There is absolutely no point writing a review about this car park 90% negative reviews. 5% mediocre and 5% that believe they are better than anyone else. If a 2.5 hr parking limit is to be enforced by cameras, then the cameras should be on the actual car park itself not on the road to entrance and exit. 1 star rated because I couldnt give it negative. Perhaps the same people that send out the fines should take a long hard look at themselves! Nail in the coffin for retail on this land.

Dec 24, 2022

Absolute rip off. Avoid as you would covid!!! Camera takes a photo 5 mins before you get to carpark itself. Depending on traffic. Lucky if you can find a parking space at peak times. Camera then takes a photo on the way out. So 2.5 hrs parking includes driving to actual car park and the moment you leave the car park. Absolutely no discretion given. Don't use it unless you intend on being an hour maximum!!!!! If you could give negative stars then it would get the maximum from me. The company that own it should be ashamed at the way they treat their customers. Disgusting, compassionatess, money grabbing low life. Threaten you with bailiffs if you're a second late. No wonder trade there is being hit so badly

I got my kids feet measured at clarks last year in august. Clarks were useless and had no suitable shoes for any of the children. My son is disabled so it took longer with him but the staff were useless. Today (7 months later) I've recieved a fine for going 20mins over. I won't be paying it or returning to this car park. It's a joke

Jan 9, 2022

Had to give one star as wouldn’t go through with none!!! Took my 84 year old mum with walking sticks and serious ocpd breathing condition to do Christmas shopping, she has to stop and sit/stand to catch her breath, I move the car from end to the other as she cannot walk the length, it’s precious time with mum and can’t be rushed, and all she wants to do is see the Christmas things and buy a few presents for family herself!! 20 mins it’s over time and still appealing! They asked for evidence and Given all receipts to prove shopping/ blue badge/ medical evidence and they still rejected! I’ve Ask for their evidence on meeting how they come to this decision to each of the evidence I sent that they asked for ! and also stated the this is line with their communication time limit that they keep stating!! Still waiting for their reply….. as they say they are so busy!

All these people crying in the reviews is pretty entertaining to read. "I had to pay £70 for being late"; don't be late. "I went to do my Christmas shopping and it took ages to get parked and to get out"; you must be new here? "I spent such and such, how dare you put a time limit on how long I park for"; the door to entitlement is round the corner and on your right hand side. Yours sincerely, A motorcycle rider who smiles and waves at you as they pass

Disgusting operators, fined £70 for being 22mins over, due to restaurant taking more time to serve due to covid. Will never take any business to any of the shops or restaurants on that estate again. Great way to discourage customers, when we are trying to support local businesses at this difficult time.

Dec 3, 2019

Clearly don't want the businesses to be there with cowboys operating a totally anti business parking regime. If you want to do Xmas shopping avoid it at all costs

Dec 2, 2019

You HAVE to give them one star. Totally disgusted with them as it took a long time to get parked and even longer to get out, this was the start of my Xmas shopping I won’t be going back, if the shops want customers I suggest they give you three hours.

Nov 23, 2019

Parking hell! Took me half an hour to get out of there - so many super tight 90 angles just to get out of there. I ended up having a big panic attack.

Oct 22, 2019

Disgusting. Was stuck getting out of car park due to terrible traffic now £42 poorer and the rip off admin fee. So not happy

Aug 25, 2019

Spent 250 pounds shopping here few weeks ago with family which one is disabled so getting round in the time proven plus trying to get out the car park due to traffic. NOT Good won't be returning to use this car park will pay provided multi storey

Aug 10, 2019

Free Cark Park for a maximum of 2,5 hours. After that time there's a fine of £70. Many shops like H&M, B&M, pound land, Matalan, Argos, Boots, etc

May 14, 2019

Was 15mins late back to my car as my little girl had 2 feeds and bum changes and got sent a fine... you can’t time a baby’s feeding and bottom habits! So not fair!

May 11, 2019

Doesn’t deserve a star, less than 15 minutes late but back to the car early took 30 minutes getting off the car park and ended up with a fine! It’s ridiculous put off shopping in this retail park now!

Oct 6, 2018

want to shop there but can't because of strict time restrictions one star is over generous. deserves minus 5. strict tight landlords.

Aug 11, 2018

Would give no stars if I could. What shop puts a time limit on their customers?? The amount of traffic to get out or how hard it is to find a space leaves you with an hour for shopping. Won’t be going back ever again, you can find those shops somewhere else in Norwich

May 8, 2018

Got back to my car on time 10 minuets before 2 and half hour time frame Difficulties getting out of car park took me 20 minuets due to heavy traffic and as I was 10 minutes over received a fine for £70:00 reduced to £42:00 and £2:50 administration charge. Outrageous. I will not be going to riverside again.

May 4, 2018

Doesn't even deserve one star.. Disgusting. Went shopping here and took me 30 minutes to get out of the car park so went over the time limit. They then sent the notice to my OLD address where my OLD car was registered so I didn't receive any notice until I get a debt collectors letter through the post at which point the charges have risen to £150 and you aren't able to contest! Absolutely vile way to treat customers who have spent lots of money shopping here. I certainly will NOT be returning!

Oct 6, 2017

10 minutes late cost me a fine.

Aug 28, 2017

The only place stupid enough to fine their customers for shopping for longer. I get that some people may take advantage and try to park there and go elsewhere. But you need a better solution, your system is rubbish.

Jun 1, 2017

Does not deserve a rating, if you want a really good shop, do not spend your money here! My mum and I shopped till we dropped, she was visiting from Coventry, it is only some two weeks later I receive a penalty charge in the post for £40 rising to £70 if not paid promptly. All this because I wanted to spend time shopping and drinking coffee on the site. AVOID THIS SITE. They are just looking to penalise you for shopping there.

May 3, 2017

Often difficult to exit as traffic stacks up at nearby traffic lights. Enforcement is brutal, so avoid this car park if you can!

Oct 12, 2015

This is not a free car park, you will be fleeced by minimal signage resulting in a parking charge letter to your house for £42 plus £1.50 any card surcharge. I ignored the issued charge and there was no follow up as it is nonenforceable, so don't be scammed by paying the charge. Riverside are the real culprits by employing Highway Parking to monitor their car parks, They've employed Highway Robbers more like!!

Jul 26, 2015

And it can take 30 minutes to get out of the car park, so you may be charged even though you got back to your car on time!

Jan 29, 2015

Read the bad press about being late to your car - £70 if you are a minute late!
