Same as everyone else here: paid for an hours parking on 12th Nov 2022 while getting my covid jab at fire station. Only took 32mins. Have just received £100 fine through post, with no sign of transaction on my statement. Absolute rip off - Parkingeye are nothing but common thieves!! Avoid, or video your parking & payment...

Vaccination drop off. £60 fine.

My friend took me to get my covid vaccination and parked in a disabled place with my valid blue badge I was in and out whining the hour nw she has received a parking fine of £100 we have tried calling the number can't speak to anyone the email isn't valid so what is someone supposed to do to resolve it

Same thing happened to us. Paid on machine using my card for 3 hours. 2 weeks later reviewed £100 fine for not paying enough. This parking is a con and unless you video you making the payment on the machine they are just going to keep getting away with ripping people off. It's an absolute disgrace

Paid for car park and machine said I had removed my card to early so did it again. My bank statement shows me I have been charged twice. Impossible to get hold of anyone to be reimbursed.

We dropped off and picked up from the car park, complying with the rules. We stayed about 2-3 minutes on both occasions. No where near the 15 minutes free parking. We got a enforcement notice covering the first entry to the last exit. Some 2hrs and some minutes. The notice took nearly 8 weeks to come through the post so our doorbell footage had overwritten showing we never stayed for the full time they recorded...car back on drive etc. The lido were helpful as we went back to see if there was a no return rule. The lido appear to have got the fine cancelled as there is no balance due on the account. Good effort Lido. Terrible system in the car park. Surely the free 15 minutes is to allow drop offs and pick ups.

Paid for 4hrs. Stayed 3 1/2hrs. Two weeks later a £100 fine (£60 if you pay up quickly - how kind!) Luckily still have ticket - appeal is in place. Keep your ticket!!!

Zero stars. I paid for 2 hours using the machine and contactless payment. The machine beeped then I got a notification from my bank to confirm payment. The machine didn't give a ticket. As I had had a notification I thought that would be fine. A week later I get a charge for £100. Looking back at my bank statement there was no charge (despite the notification). Something seriously going wrong here. As I have no proof of payment I will have to pay the fine. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

Zero stars. At the end of my visit after entering my reg paid the amount requested by the machine, then got fined for not paying enough. Will never park here again.

Run by a bunch of cowboys. £100 fine is ridiculous and charging blue badge holders is immoral. Time the council put a stop to this.

Followed the location number listed on the visit Cheltenham website which was one digit wrong. I got a £100 fine and they rejected my appeal. Do not park here!

Video record your whole parking payment process... you will need it to avoid the £60 fine

Hello everyone, I would like represent all people with disability, because I was parking there for 34 minutes, display my Blue badge and get fine £100 reduce to 60. The saying there is disabled space, anyway you have to pay there. Any disabled person, who is visiting this swimming pool should have free stay at least for 3 hours. Is about money, but is also about respecting people and making things easy, and also providing good service for people. Thank you.

Ticket machines were not working when I parked there , It was dark and I did not see any signs detailing other means of payment. Got charged £100 fine. Extortianate charges, well over any loss they might have suffered.

I also parked here, bought 2 tickets which more than covered my parking time, still been fined.

What everyone else says. Issued me a parking fine despite me providing evidence I had paid in full for the time parked. I am appealing but it's a lot of hassle and stress. The absolute worst.

Be warned we entered the car park and by the time we unpacked the car and bought a ticket we had apparently been in the car park for 12 minutes (there were a number of people queuing for tickets due to the Lido's time slots and everyone turning up at the same time. We then left the car park 2 mins before ticket ran out but as we had been physically in the car park for 1 hour 10 mins we were fined £100. No where in the car park does it stat you must pay for the time you enter and exit the car park. Spoke to 3rd party owners who didn't care one bit. This sort of approach will put people off going to the Lido and supporting them in their hours of need.

Beware the parking information boards and Cheltenham website say free disabled parking with badge. Now updated an because I am not a mind reader I was fined. Parkin eye are the pits. Contact your councillor.

Immoral and mean in the middle of a pandemic they still charge and the signage is poor

Parked there late on a Sunday evening in January 2021 to attend urgent emergency in hospital. No time to check rules. Previously free off peak. No other cars. Fined!

Have blue badge parked 2 hours which is allowed free had £100 fine and appeal refused how can they get away with this

Terrible car park, took my father for his covid injection i waited in the car in car, received a fine today. Empty car park at 5.30 Money grabbers.......

I was there 12 mins , stood by my car the whole time. £60 charge. Been a regular at Sandford Lido until 2020 and didn't clock the signage was different. There were masses of free parking spaces on 24th Dec, so it was an ideal place to exchange presents, or so I thought!

The very worst car park in the whole of cheltenham and its high time the council sorted it.

already concerned that this is the only carpark near to the covid vaccination centre.... adds an unnecessary level of stress

Parked in this carpark in past with no problems. Today get home to a parking charge of £60! I couldn't park at clients house as workmen in way of their space so used this carpark. I only earnt £43.87 for that period of time. What the carpark isn't making allowances for is downloading an app and sorting payment via the app. They've taken the time I arrived!!!! Daylight robbery!!

We had a blue badge but still paid for a 1 hour ticket because information unclear. Ran over by 20 minutes and charged due to hospital appointment taking longer than expected. £60 sent as the early payment fee with an appeal. Appeal refused by Parking Eye and told that if the next stage of an appeal failed, we would have to pay the full £100. Also, only allowed to deal with their chosen appeals provider. Totally unethical, mafia style tactics! I will never use this car park again.

I acknowledge that I was over the time of my ticket - but that is very unclear from the ticket itself, which only prints the time you bought the ticket and the date, not when the ticket ends. Also annoying that the letter telling you that you have been charged states your entrance and exit and does not acknowledge the fact you bought a ticket at all. Charges are unclear at this car park and duration paid isn’t stated either

They are stealing money from people ! You have to pay 2 hours £3.8 for just one hour of yoga costing £7 !!! Otherwise they fine you £100
