The Priory Shopping Centre - Surface Level

Used to be a regular here not any more it’s designed to be a misleading money making rip off. You need a stepladder and Sherlock Holmes’s magnifying glass to read the small print. Just stay away from the place is my advice

Would not go back here again no signs up saying disabled people have to pay was always free have received pcn for this. People making money off disabled people and others. Would rate zero stars if I could or better still minus 5 stars

An awful place,dirty,broken down and a scam.Dartford is already on its knees so why add to the problems.Don’t park here!!

Disabled parking was always free, no signage on entry to indicate the change, Sainsbury's profiteering at the expense of disabled drivers.

Excellent location however will not be using again as parking fees are excessive. 4hrs cost £10. Used to go to Dartford frequently however will not be going back anytime soon.

Will not be useing this car park again and agree final nail in the coffin for Dartford

Parked in ground level paid £3.00 for 2 hrs, did shopping claimed back at sainsburys who took tickets, parking machine at fault got parking ticket cannot give proof as ticket taken by Sainsbury, this is the third time I have been given parking ticket but other times could proof payment I think they have a vendetta on blue badge holders

Visited this car park for the first time in 3 years and parked in a disabled bay with a blue badge, opened the post today to find a fine of £100 issued. All other Sainsbury’s shops are free so needless to say that Dartford won’t be getting any more custom from me

Parked in what i thought was the Sainsburys car park. Checked to see whether i needed to pay and saw a big sign saying free parking if you spend over £10 in store. Did not see the tiny sign next to it stipulating that parking is only refunded if you have proof of purchase. Received a £100 fine. I won't be parking in this scam car park again

Similar situation as other review.... have used this car park at various times over the past 40 years.... now do not live in area, visiting friends and signage not clear.... so shopped in Sainsbury's and now have a parking fine. I will just go to Crayford Sainsbury's from now on if in the area.

Have been using this car park for years,Now left the area but visiting friends I popped in but did not see any apnr signs clearly displayed on entry I won’t shop here again

With the poor upkeep of the car park, it's very dangerous, drivers going around the wrong way, seen lots of near misses

Been to Dartford Sainsbury's car park at end of June. Was slightly over the hour which I had paid £1.70 via the app. I have just received a letter from Premier Park that a £100 fine is due for slightly over staying. Needless to say I won't be parking in Dartford again. Dartford is bad enough without deterring shoppers.

As other's have commented my Dad who is a Blue Badge holder has also just been fined for parking in a Blue Badge spot. Absolutely disgusting. The owners of the car park and Sainsbury's should be ashamed of sucking money out of some of the more vulnerable people in society. It's also not a good way of keeping customers. I won't be shopping in Sainsbury's until this decision is reversed.

Absolutely disgusted with the change in parking rules. I received a 100 pound fine for parking in a disabled bay with a blue badge! There were no signs to warn customers of the change in parking fees. I will never use Dartford Sainsbury's again! No other Sainsbury's charges for parking nearby. Will be using Pepper Hill or Crayford from now on.

Ridiculous, dartford usually provides disabled parking spaces for blue badge holders free of charge, yet sainsbury car park send a £100 fine for parking in a disabled space while displaying a disabled badge, even though the sign does not make clear that blue badge holders need to also pay. Once recieved the fine no way to contact the car park atall

Why would anyone ever park here unless you're shopping in Sainsbury's. There is free parking in Dartford!

Most of the street lights in the car park are broken, if you pay via the card machine you don’t get a refund from Sainsbury’s as no refund voucher is printed which is why I shop in Crayford.

Been there today paid £2 and machine didnt issue a ticket. Went to Sainsbury who wouldn't refund and said nothing to do with them and you don't have to pay anyway and take it with the priory. It's just appalling

I am absolutely disgusted about the price going up, it’s actually put me off shopping in dartford now, it such a pity for all the shop and stall holders losing all their business due to greedy Sainsbury’s and dartford council

So if you want to meet a friend, spend a couple of hours having lunch, walk round the market, its now £5 unless you desire a shop in sainsbury's, hence making it £15!!! What happened to the multi storey? You've killed the shops, the high street, the market, the restaurants all because sainsbury's want everything. Greed greed greed. Nothing for the small independent people. And what happened to the multi storey? It's just ridiculous. I'm not paying £5 to park in dartford and nor is anyone else by the looks of it. So well done sainsbury's and ncp, you've killed a little market town. Greedy greedy greedy.

Very fed up with machines constantly not working.

This price increase is an absolute take on. The priory centre isn't that big with only a limited amount of shops inside, so charging £150 for an hour is extortionate. Even the staff who work in the shops will struggle as many are part time workers.

I have been using this car park for many years now, I find the price is good as you get it refunded up to £3, also it is not the company Apcoa who decided the price change it was infact Sainsbury's who wanted the price put up. So people moaning about the parking company shouldn't as it is not there doing. The parking attendants work very hard and are always very helpful, they take a lot of flack from people and they are only doing there job. I think they are always helpful, friendly and hard working. The car park it self is great for locality. I will always be a customer here.

The way i see it, we are paying for Quality....and why are you whining when Sainsburys Offer a Discount up to £3.00 when you spend £10.00 in store to cover your 2 hours worth of parking, so essentially it is free! and it isnt Dartford Borough Council or Sainsburys who implemented these prices it was APCOA, the ones who actually run the car park.

Whoever made the decision to put the price of parking up to £1.50 doesn't have the interest of Dartford residents of local businesses at heart. Sorry but will not be using from now on not when I can go elsewhere much cheaper or free! Come on Dartford make yourselves known do not use and send a message to the greedy corporations that own this car park

Yes it is convenient, yes it is in the centre of the town. But £1.50 for an hour, that's up from 90p last week. Won't be using them again. Sorry Sainsbury's and Dartford Borough Council, but it's cheaper to go to Bluewater! Thanks for putting the final nail in Dartfords coffin.
