Horrendous! It’s an absolute nightmare to pay for parking in this car park. Website they give details for doesn’t exist. No phone number to call where you can actually speak to a person. And online paying facility doesn’t give an option to pay for the previous day! What the hell?!

Paid for ticket yet still received a £60 fine. Signal not good so paid 10 minutes after entry and sent receipt of ticket but it was rejected. A terrible way to do business and a frustrating service!

As other unlucky users of this facility have found to their cost, 24 hours parking isn't 24 hours parking. Massive money making scam, paid for 24 hours on a weekend, which to them is not 24 hours from the time of entry but some other definition only they know. 3 months later got a £60 fine for not paying enough even though there isn't any sign, either on site or on their website to say that the 24 hour period paid for on Saturday/Sunday is NOT 24 hours parking from time of entry. This is legal theft hiding behind misleading signs and ambiguity. Park ANYWHERE else and get a cab to the station if you're staying overnight, they'll get you if you don't!!

Plenty of space but beware, 24 hours does not mean 24 hours. We got a PCN 4 months later. Apparently, we should have left our hotel room at 4am to pay again. We arrived and left within 24 hours ignorant of this.NCP impossible to deal with as they don't respond. Avoid.

Evil.  Rather than just tell you the tariff the NCP signs advise you can download their app.  Good luck with that with Cambridge wifi.  Luckily, we did find some CAR park rates - inside the CYCLE parking building.  These advise £10 to £12 per 12-hour stretch.  Or part thereof.  Therein lies the sting.  The cutover is at 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.  So if you arrive at three in the afternoon (we did) and leave the next morning, NCP will charge you £34.  The hotel receptionist advised number plate recognition means if you fail to discover this in time the meter has already rung on your first £12.  Maybe we were just unlucky and there were signs elsewhere (although there were other similarly frustrated would-be parkers in reception) but one feels that one less camera might have covered the cost of a few prominent signs advising the tariff. Fortunately we escaped within the time limit and there is perfectly reasonable parking ten minutes walk away - discounted for the hotels.   The word 'scam' comes to mind.

It’s convenient and large, but one of the few places to park for this price in the area, so it’s very often full, not just from people travelling via train, but for people spending the weekend/day in Cambridge

Car park shut at weekend and train missed after having to park further away. Not good enough.

Too often this car park is closed. No notice is given. Attendants in barriers are unhelpful and trains are missed as a result.
