Never used to pay to park here. Its daylight robbery I was there less than 3 hours. Still got a ticket 3 weeks after the event.

Been going to Asda hulme for the last 12 yrs spending inbetween £150 -£200 got a £100 fine through the post for parking there 6 weeks earlier i will not pay this fine.

Ridiculous this UKCPS managing their car park. Recieved a letter yesterday for the date of 5 weeks early parked in parent and child bay. Always come there with family. Never happened and no appeal allowed. Scammers just money making.

Have been parking there for three years and first time I have received a penalty notice. Will not shop there again. Bought wrong thing from Argos so promptly took it back for a replacement - seriously! I am sure there were no restrictions before...

Hope during this festive season we shoppers don't get fined for going over parking limit by 10 mins. As queues on till in retailers are getting longer . Thanx.

Unsafe for pedestrians all yje walkways were removed when KFC was put in and the crossing point is only signed on one side

Received a fine £100 reduced to £60 if I pay within 14 days.Fine was for not parking perfectly within the bay.The bay was a solo spot not in a row with other cars. Would not have impeded anyone else's ability to park.Absolute criminals.

Have received a fine for parking at Asda, Hulme. After calling UKCPS they tell me that it will be because I parked there twice in one day. They say that you are no allowed to return to the car park within a certain time scale. Absolutely ridiculous. I often go there more then once a day. Will be taking to the manager at Asda!!!!

run by criminals

UKCPS run this site - if you stay more than 3 hours expect a bill for £100 - apparently there are signs stating this - look hard - I didn't. They will send a 'bill' then chase for payment - appeals ONLY in Writing, and they dont acknowledge reciept - stating you should check back with them - what a shower..

Parking in Manchester

Off-street (Commercial Car Parks)

Manchester City Council has a joint venture with NCP Car Parks for off-street parking (i.e. commercial car parks) and encourages visitors to use an NCP car park during their stay.

The following car parks usually fill up before 11am:

- King Street West
- Exchange
- M&S
- Market Place

The following car parks usually have space available:

- Arndale and Printworks (over 2200 space combined)
- Grand Hotel (5 mins walk to Piccadilly)

Three free Metroshuttle buses go past most of the car parks and around the city regularly so you can leave the car in the cheapest car park in the city centre for a long stay and don't need to move the car, although this does mean using public transport. Route map on the TfGM website.

On Street (Pay & Display)

On street parking (i.e. pay and display) in Manchester city centre is divided into hourly zones: one hour, two hour and three hour zones.

Further information can be found by clicking on the coloured zones on the map or by visiting Manchester County Council website.
