DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK FOR OVERNIGHT PARKING. I parked friday night and returned within 23 hours. I was charged £35. The 24 hour charges shown do not cross over between weekdays and weekends. IT IS NOT CLEAR. COMPLETE RIP OFF. AVOID.

Complete rip off. I parked on a Sunday evening and expected to pay £13.10 when I returned to my car the following afternoon - the weekend rate for 24 hours according to the APCOA website, but was charged £35.50 instead. I worked out that I'd been charged for a few hours on the Sunday plus the 24 hour weekday rate. Nowhere on their website does it say that this would happen. (It does on here - I wish I'd looked at that first). I challenged this with APCOA but they claimed it was perfectly clear. Why should it cost way more to park for 24 hours on a Sunday than it does on any other day of the week? I will be avoiding all APCOA carparks from now on.

Main car parking okay, I would advise compare costs with other better quality parkings in Reading centre. Short stay and pick up section an utter disgrace!! For a modern station with the numbers of people travelling and picked up by their relatives, too few spaces, people double park, you cannot get your car out safely, too short a waiting time (20 mins) especially if they decide to close the subway. Quite simply a disgrace!

We parked on the 3rd floor and took the lift due to the ground floor to exit. Came back in the same way and I sent my son to pay using our ticket. When we ried to exit the machine said to call attendant who promptly told me I'd paid at the wrong machine,I should put my hazards on and walk back to pay on another machine. I tried calling again as I had no idea where to find another machine and tried to explain which machine I'd used as it made no sense. I had already paid £4.40 for 2 hours and wanted a refund or exchange. The fellow kept telling me I can't tell the difference between long stay and short stay, I clearly can't read and shouldn't be allowed to drive. Apparently I now need to write to customer services and complain a d wait for my refund. I still cannot understand why they have a machine in the same building that is the wrong one? Appalling service, ridiculous fees and rudeness in abundance. I'll never park there again.

Terrible car park, plus ridiculously and unjustifiably expensive! Possibly the worst in England! Do not use, seek for other options!

The 24hr price is misleading. They don’t count it from arrival time, instead they do it from 00:01-00:00. So our 21 hr stay (overnight) wound up costing us the equivalent of 33 hrs. We may as well have had a whole day in London to actually get our money’s worth. Also car spaces are very small, packed in like sardines with little space to manoeuvre for estate cars. Drop off point is way too small for when the commuter trains get in.

Wish I'd read the reviews before turning up. Shockingly expensive for one night away in Hull. More expensive than the rail ticket... Obscene...

Ridiculously expensive. Cheaper to get taxis both ways! Is also an old car park with low ceilings, unclear directions and a smell of urine. Wish I had checked prices in advance. Won't use again

Stayed here for one night on the weekend and was charged over £30 although it states 24 hours is less. A parking ticket is probably cheaper.

This car park is an utter rip off. It looked shabby before the station was rebuilt but now in comparison to the surrounding areas it looks like a slum.

The only good ish thing is the short walk from the car park to the new station entrance, everything else is horrid. Very expensive - probably cheaper to park on the street and get a ticket.

cost 3 times as much as Apcoa long stay swindon.£23.70 per 24 hrs as opposed to £8.40. What a rip off!. No lifts in service and very unclear on how to exit. No space at swindon so I had little choice.

Called to find out how much it would cost to park up at about 4pm on a Friday and return early hours Saturday morning. Very rude women answered the phone, clearly didn't want to be there and seemed surprised when I was told it was £30. YES, THIRTY POUNDS. Not a cost effective option and not one I'd even consider using in the future. The reviews are right, OVER expensive and NOT worth it. Shame after all the work that's been invested in the refurbishments. Perhaps some money towards polite customer services should have been included. If you're going to quote outrageous prices, at least be civil and empathetic and NOT RUDE! Also tried to save with no rating as no stars are applicable in this instance but a minimum of 1 star is the lowest score.....

This is one of the least pleasant car parks in the world, with the most excessive prices. Added to that the service if you have to (no-one wants to) buy a season ticket is slow and unhelpful. I'd like to give it no stars, but 1 seems to be the minimum

Complete Rip off. Paid 50% of the return fare to Cardiff to park. Unbelieveable

Narrow entrances, low ceilings, smelly lifts and ripoff prices. What is there to like? Yes, absolutley nothing. But no alternative for 24+ station parking. I avoid whenever possible.

Terrible fees, and wrong charges. Paid a simply unjustified 12 quid for less than 3 hours. Nobody to take this issue to... No answer on their contact line. Just lame. I will stay away for ever.

Unjustifiable charges and the lifts and stairwells stink of urine. It's a dark, dank hole.

This car park is the ultimate rip off site. Don't park here or UK Parking Control Ltd and their associates Parking Collection Services and their subsidiary Debt Recovery Plus will claim you parked in unauthorised spoaces and threaten and intimidate you with court and county court judgements. They operate the ultimate rip off! Highway robbery. Find somewhere else to shop or eat!

Utter and complete rip off, its daylight robbery I paid for a weekend (Friday evening to sunday evening) £34 more than my train ticket. NEVER again. I warn people do not go there.

Such a rip off! They have just put the prices up by 45% for a season ticket. I can't understand how they can justify it morally. Disgraceful.
